Hello.

Just informing you all now, I will not be at a computer for a bit. Stupid family vactaions...

Anyway, my actions will be (until I return) to make sure this event we hate shall never happen.

Preferably by stealthy means.

Otherwise, just lay low and make threads of time.

Not that. It is for a few reasons:
1. I actually spend less time on this RTD in the holidays because I have more time to spend. See 2.
2. This RTD is no fun for me to make turns for. Sure you can raise hell around, but the novelty of that has worn off, and now I view making a turn as work, rather than play. It is worth noting that it takes a solid 45-55 mins to do a turn with 10 people in it. Around 10 of those are the actual player turns.
3. 'Lucky' Rolls. I know I shouldn't have, but I fudged up rolls for most of this to go in the players favour. What happened to Gabriel is an example of what happens when I don't fudge rolls. Kyeti was almost dead numerous times.
4. I'm doing it wrong. I let extra people into the RTD making 2 all the more of a problem. I made too many NPC's as well. I have tried to have everything consistent, and that leads to disaster. Sneak preview of Turn 20 - A 5 storey stone golem. It had a bonus total of +5 from me being consistent on bonuses. It was +3 because there was 3 things helping, and +2 because of the fact all of them are good at the magic required, and it wasn't expert.

Note: NOT DEAD. Turns will be done purely at my discretion from this point onwards.

I see... and when you add in stuff to make it more fun (enemies) it makes more work for yourself.  Hmm.

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything when it started, but letting PCs all start in a different location hardly ever works. I GMed a tabletop game in highschool where 4 PCs started in their houses in a population 50 hamlet, and it took them about 2 1/2 hours (real time) to meet each other. And they were all playing in the same room, and eventually just had to go out of character to get a party going. Managing every PC in a different location all the time is a total pain in the ass, because it practically multiplies the amount of time it takes by the number of players.

*shrugs* Hopefully that cinnamon rolls program will kick all sorts of ass and make life easier.

Told you it wasn't dead. And Kyeti, tell me that sort of thing earlier in future, it will help.
Also, I like the song title turn names.
Turn 20 - Killing Fields
Quote from: Relm
I try to memorize the script.
[6] You get through the second act this time, and even blast through the third! But because you did so much memorising, your head hurts. (Headache)
Quote from: Humaan
Well, head to the area it will be held.
[4] You periodically stop time on the way, so you can travel more in what is in reality the same amount of time. [5] No-one notices this strange phenomenon.  As you head through the markets, you don't see anything of note that should stop you. You make it to G7 in 5 minutes.
Quote from: Panda
I suggest to the police that we head to the nearby police station (the one at K16) and discuss tactics on how to defeat the menancing threat that is the other players.
[5] After making your suggestion, the police enlighten you on the fact that they were heading there anyway. You walk for a minute or two, talking about light-hearted topics, like petrol prices and how crazy the world is becoming. You reach the police car, and you hop inside the front with the two officers. On the way to the police station, you talk about the recent maniacs in the city. You realise that there is no set plan for dealing with them. You reach it uneventfully. You are invited inside. You are now outside the police station in K16.
Quote from: Gabriel
regain consciousness and tell mittens to get away while i try to focus fire magic on that gas main mentioned earlier
[4-2] You don't manage to wake up, and instead wander in your subconscious. You hear voices telling you to lay down and die. Your resolve strengthens.
Quote from: Kyeti
apolagise to Lauren, explain what I just did and then make a golem out of the assorted tools lyeing around that can dig us to safety
[4] You manage to calm her down slightly, but she is still slightly scared of you. As you start to make a golem out of tools, Lauren stops you. She tells you, calmly, that there isn't any electronics around, so a golem would not be smart. She then grabs a shovel and a compass, and digs east. [1] You stand there like a stunned mullet.
Quote from: Errol
Stroll towards J10 while testing my pickpocket skills on some random passerbys.
[2] You stroll along casually, but everyone around is guarding their pockets like word got out. It is not because of you. You make it to G12.
Quote from: Eswen
I lock and barricade the door of my room.
[2] You try to lock the door, but cannot find a key. You also can't find equipment you could use to barricade it with. Your female hostage (the one that fainted) wakes up, and starts crying at her predicament.
Quote from: Don
I head down to b7 and along the way (if I'm at a safe distance) I'll detonate the house half way there and then head to nearest phone booth and make some calls to see if anyone wants any "jobs" done... I'm sure the guy in charge of offering more power to the police made some enemies...
[3] You head off eastwards. Your progress is slowed by the search parties, and you don't reach what you consider a safe distance, so the house is intact. For now.
Quote from: Mr.Black
I go outside and try to create a giant stone golem with the help of One, Two and Three.
[5+3+2] You leave your base with One, Two and Three, and immediately rise to the surface via magic. You create a tower, two storeys high, and from there you begin. From the earth, all four of you craft the golem, starting from the feet. The feet on this giant are several metres long, as well as wide, the legs go up to the height of a nearby 2 storey building, the torso goes up that distance again, and the arms can reach out even more. When the time comes for the creation of the masterpiece's head, you vault yourself and the golems up to it, and create not just a fancy head, but a fancy control room. You create a throne, identical to the one in your base, and your golems stand in place, powering this towering colossus. You are ready to wreck things. Starting with the array of police cars that have assembled. They are all crushed underfoot. Things are about to get damn fun. (It stands 5 storeys tall, arms are proportional. Wanted level is going to skyrocket.)
Quote from: Rohan
I think I'll try another break in then and scout around the house.
[2] You see another house, but fail to make it inside, due to there being no visible windows, or even a door. The building stands alone, and has no visible entry, you are puzzled.
Quote from: Reaper
I flex my muscles and observe my current surroundings.
[2] You cause your muscles to wobble, and look around. The only thing you notice is that there is alot of houses nearby. You assume that you are somewhere in the residential district.

Time:9:05 AM
Weather: [2] The sky is getting darker.
News: [6] Despite alot happening, the only thing the media mentions on the news is the referendum, and how the police should have more power.

NPC Actions
Quote from: Blender Golem
Sacrificial repair time.
[5] It removes pieces of itself, and uses them to repair the damaged circuitry in the Microtoaster golem. It works perfectly, and the microtoaster golem is functional, though disoriented.
Quote from: Microtoaster Golem
Scout area.
[2] It can't find anything, and is struggling to balance. It rests itself.
Quote from: Guncar Golem
Smash through the ice to the house.
[4] It makes some serious progress, but can't get to the house yet. There is alot of ice to go through.
Quote from: Lauren
To the front door, using shovel.
[2] She makes it to the front door and begins to bash in the ice. She makes almost no progress though.
Quote from: One, Two and Three
They power the massive golem, but can't make it move. Mr.Black has to tell it to move.
Quote from: Mittens the gargoyle
Save master.
[2] Mittens flies over to where Gabriel is lying, but is intercepted by the demon. [4+1] Mittens dodges the blow with ease, but doesn't make it to Gabriel.
Quote from: Gabe's Cop One
Grab the guy!
[5] In a moment of sheer bravado, the police officer grabs the lying Gabriel and lugs him to the police car, where his ally has got the car ready. They speed off.
Quote from: Gabe's Cop Three
Get the car ready
[4] He fumbles a bit, but gets the car ready in good time. Once his ally and Gabriel are in, he takes off.
Quote from: Gabe's Cop Two
Wonder what the hell went on.
[3] Having just woken up, he wastes no time in getting an explanation. He gets one.
Quote from: Gabes Magic cop
Get on the car as it leaves!
[1] He tries to jump onto the car, but only manages to jump into it. Ouch. There is a loud crack as his neck is severed.
Quote from: Gabriel's Demon
Gargoyle go smash.
[6+1] After failing to intercept it, the demon tries to simply smash Mittens into dust! [4+1] Mittens is proving to be very nimble, and dodges imminent destruction.
Quote from: The Frigid Assholes
They have vanished.
Quote from: Cops near Mr.Black
Call for BACKUP.
[1] They do, but fail to get any. Which is quite wierd, considering the circumstance. The other police are skeptical of all this, -1 to next reinforcement roll against Mr.Black.

I don my deoderant. I then head inside, and try to rally all of the policemen there to follow me. I will head to the towering golem at F14 with whatever policemen there are that are willing to follow me.

If I can reach it this turn and still do something, I'm going to try and use ice magic to make the ground slippery again, in attempt to make the collossus fall.
