Author Topic: [NEVERMIND]Toggled hatches become impossible to remove if lever is deconstructed  (Read 505 times)

I built some hatches, hooked them up to levers, pulled the levers (thus opening the hatches), and then deconstructed the levers. I also told my dwarves to deconstruct the hatches, but they wouldn't, until I built new levers, hooked them up to the open hatches, and pulled them. This seems wrong somehow.

Er, actually, I can't seem to remove them at all, and yes, I'm quite certain that my dwarves can access their location -- I built an additional staircase.

EDIT: Like a dumbass, I'd forbidden the things. Silly me! Sorry for the false alarm.

The hatches should've deconsructed when the lever was dissasembled

Well, they certainly aren't. I think I'll just have to set them to open and forget they exist. Oh, well...

You mean it's a ligitimate bug and should be recorded, or they failed to deconstruct, and you can still see them with q or v.
