It doesn't have a--OMFG STOP INVADING ALL THE TIME HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE WHEN I'M BABYSITTING ALL MY PLANETS GOSH

Sorry, Spore.  Anyway, it doesn't have an entry on Systemrequirementslab, and I'm trying to see if it'll run.  Does anyone here have it on a single-core?  My processor is a bit on the weak side(2.2ghz 1core) but I've run games that need better processors before, so it's kind of a gamble when it comes to requirements.

I discovered a new hobby. There's a diversion where you get a missile launcher with infinite ammo and you need to shoot down an endless amount of helicopters until the time runs out. However, the helicopters will stay around after time runs out.

So, what I do is purposely fail that diversion, thus making the sky completely filled with helicopters. Then I ready the whip arm and start flinging myself at the helicopters and basically skipping from one to another.

How does it compare to infamous?

That game was just above average for me. A renting game, but I don't think the world agree with me. The entire town was treating me like their slave, and the second I do something wrong, everyone HATES me. And if I do things right? Everyone HATES me even more! I left like I was playing some sort of Anikan Skywalker.

Also, while the story was not exactly predictable, I did  call that the *ENDGAME SPOILER*
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
*/ENDGAME SPOILER* Lucky guess, I suppose.

I don't think you are correct, I just finished and I did not get the impression that such as the truth. It's another guy entirely.

What I want to know: Why did they make the first half of the game have your sister, and then when she's in the hospital you never hear mention of her again? Plot seems to have been rushed more towards the end

Prototype's plot is actually very good, but the delivery is a piece of crap.

Basically, he spent the first half trying to grasp at his human side. Then, when his sister was hospitalized and he got poisoned by the anti-virus poison (which can't affect humans in the least) he realized that yes. He's no longer human. There's no point in him pretending to be one. He was just trying to play the role of Alex Mercer when Alex Mercer no longer exists.

After that, he kinda just casts away all his human elements and starts murdering everyone without any real moral worries. If he saw his sister again, he wouldn't call her his sister any longer and would probably just have consumed her to keep himself a secret.

In fact, as the game progresses, Alex begins to side more and more with the infected (seeing them as his children) and less and less with the military.

Great game, makes my thumbs sore from button MASHING! Personally I like the delivery and story of the game. My only problem was some of the cutscenes felt a bit too short. And that boss at the end was a pain till I figured out a good way to do it. :E

I love this game.
my only problem is that I can't seem to use my devastator attacks.
I'll have my health up over the required ammount but if I try to do a devastator it refuses to use the move. for instance I forget which devastator it is but one of them has the same controls as the fist pound shockwave thing. so when I hit the buttons it does that instead of the devastator. so annoying.
But love this game anyway. :)

Hold down the buttons. It will look like he's doing the normal move but when that is fully charged, he'll do a devastator.

You kick Marine in his lower body! It explodes in gore!

You slice Marine through his upper body! It is cloven asunder!

You hit Tank in it's upper body! It collapses into a lump of scrap!

I wonder why no one seems to compare this game with Ninja Gaiden. I've only played the first Xbox one but Prototype seems to play similarly to how I remember it.

I honestly love the plot, though it takes some doing to put it all together. Though it is nice for a game to neither just hand you the story nor force you to sit through most of it.
