lol vague is a bit of an understatement

a series, party at the bottom, dragon on the cover... one of the Might & Magic games perhaps?

*or Ishar, specifically Ishar 3 :D

And yet somehow, there it is. :) Ishar 3 is correct!! Oh man. It's been so long since I've seen that picture.

And now I need to play all of the Ishar games. Thanks, everyone! :D

There's this one game I saw on youtube once, not sure if it was part of a lets play or a demo of sorts. It seemed like some sort of fantasy strategy game in which you were in hell and you vied for power against other hell lords and a central demonic council authority that tried to keep everyone from gaining too much power. It features detailed portraits and character descriptions I think, and I never saw its battle system (if it had one at all). It seemed like most of the gameplay consisted of making political moves and trying to make your faction please the hellish council untill you were strong enough to challenge them and the other hell lords. The whole game was in 2d.

It seemed interesting but I cant even remember part of its name.

Top-down flash game, zombie survival stuff. The game revolves around there being a merchant/trader type in a fortified compound with big turrets and stuff, and every day you can run missions to (I think it was( get supplies, rescue survivors, or kill zombies. The guy would then pay you for your work and it would have an added benefit depending on what work you did, like extending the supplies you have available or whatever.

Internet is so saturated with zombie games that google is useless.

Sounds like the amazingly-titled Endless Zombie Rampage.

We've got a game going in Play with your Buddies at the moment, but unfortunately everybody seems to have reneged on their vows to keep the thread updated with screenshots and such.

It was the amazingly titled sequel "Endless Zombie Rampage 2: The Rampage Still Hasn't Ended". But thanks for leading me there. Odd how specifically I remembered this game though, given I can hardly remember what I wore or ate or did in general yesterday.

Hi, I'm looking for the name of a game, here's what I remember about it :

The hero gets "killed" by the boss right at the beggining and has to start back from scratch. I think this happens several times during the course of the game.
There's a lot of random stuff, nonsense and humor.
I think it's similar to disgaea in some aspects. Like some kind of JRPG or something.
I think it's japanese and on console or handheld.
View is 2d isometric.
The name is long-winded, at first I thought it was "I wanna be the guy" but that's not the game i'm looking for.
It's not super old but not super recent either. I think it came out around 2010, plus or minus 2 years.

Maybe you're thinking of "Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman" made by Nippon Icchi for the PSP? It's more of a rogue-like than JRPG, btw.

I don't see how anyone could forget a game with a title like that.

Looking for a game, saw it posted here about a year ago or so - but can't find it;

Spacegame where you can build your ship from a top-down view. You get more cash the longer you play and can unlock techs either by playing or buying.

Ship building system was very complex, you had to build generators (with a center piece and attaching up to 4 parts to it), connect the power to your weapons, make missle-storage systems, place armor and all that.

All damage was applied where it hit, on the hit ship/model, with missles making a crater and lasers/bullets just slowly eating past it and particle weapons hitting systems only.

Singleplayer only - you could move around a big map where enemys got stronger the further you'r away from the center.

It's NOT; Starsector, Gratuitous Space Battles, transcendence, Starship Corporation or STAR COMMAND.
