wow, that dials back the way-back machine.  power-monger had a world and a tactical map that looked (unsurprisingly) like populous. but if you are used to an interface like M&B/WB, i guess the tactical map would look like a world map to you.

Thats actually a good contender for Exerosp's game.

I remember the world map seeiming HUGE and the individual levels seeming far too tedious to ever dream of playing through the whole thing.  But the first few sure were fun.

I found this game on the internet somewhere, and haven't been able to find it since. It was an online wiki, but it was all drawings, and you could create new "scenes" or navigate through the drawings, finding cool things. I'd be really happy if someone were to find it, because I've been looking for it for the last few days. Thanks in advance. One of the things I remember was that one of the pages was centered on clouds, and named thus.

No, It was based on drawing and pixels. It was griefed often, and had "tags" which would allow you to go to other areas of the game's universe. (Created by players of course)

Bumping my old post, which I accidentally posted on my Bro's account:

There was once a PS1 game I would always play in my childhood. I remember the multiplayer making you play as a giant spire, the other player being one on the other side of the map. You would spawn vehicles, airstrikes, and even turret towers to defeat the other player. I also remember it having a mainly Sci-Fi setting, as well as making it first-person when you controlled a unit.

I remember a game i played from one of those demo CD's, it was a cool game set in egypt where you had to build a city, there was alot of different gods and stuff.
I remember getting so sad when i saw people moving out of houses, even managing fires by demolishing surrounding buildings. I just loved the game, it had a very complex (atleast for a 10 year old, wich i was back then) farming system where you had to use mudded tiles in the nile for farming, and irrigation and stuff.
