I've been wondering about a game for a while now. It was PC, probably around 10-12 years old. It took place on a deserted tropical island, and you had to command a group of plane crash survivors. The box art featured things like wild animal attacks and the like.

I remember that it looked like an amazing game to play, but sadly our computer at the time simply couldn't handle it. We returned it a day or so later.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably this. Seems to have fallen into obscurity pretty quickly.

PS1 game, sci-fi setting, anime art style (I think).

It was 3D but mostly top-down. You could stack bombs on foes from a distance. I think you could upgrade the number of bombs at one time, range, and likely health. The tutorial / first level was set in a town and tanks would turn up by the end of the level.

Fake edit: Ignore me. I found it by searching for "PS1 stacking bombs". It's called Silent Bomber. Only posting in case someone else was looking for the same.

That might be it. Certainly looks familiar, though I think my version had different box art.

I'm looking for a game, I remember it was a free downloadable game, it was a top-down survival game with a sci-fi setting and multiple characters to play as. You crash land on a planet and have to escape.

So I am trying to recall the name of a Sci-fi RTS,
The name was just a year or something, and there are two or three factions, and I think one is Russian.
It was unique in that there was an underground level to the maps, and you could custom build tanks from parts.

Earth 2150 series? I think there's Earth 2140, 2150, and 2160.
Decent games.

This is a little different, but still relevant I think.

A while ago a post was made, I think on this section of the forum, maybe a different one.  It concerned a website where people played D&D.  There were multiple DMs, all of whom were DMing campaigns in one overarching world, and the various adventurer groups lived their own stories as part of the collective story of the game, occasionally meeting each other and doing whatever happens then.

Does anybody remember what this was?  I looked around but couldn't find it.  I think it started with an R

No, it was traditional D&D, run in weekly sessions.  Exactly like any other game except all the DMs worked together to create a cohesive world where all the parties existed simultaneously and could interact.
