Throwing out a wild shot here, this is a game I vaguely remember from my childhood, I don't remember too much from it other than that it was fun as all hell, aside from that it's just snippets.

System: Either NES or SNES, I am fairly certain it was NES but not 100%.
Type: Platformer

The shit I remember from it:
Sidescrolling platformer with an overworld map where you see your progress between levels. There were multiple paths at some points in the game so you could not go to all the levels in the same playthrough, for example I remember there being an ice level in the shape of a tower on the world map that I only got like 10% of the times I played the game.
You had several characters, I don't remember  if you could switch at will or just before starting each level. I think the characters were dragons or some such and they had different abilities and flaws.
The very first level if I remember correctly is a "boss" battle in a castle throne room.
One of the end levels, I think it is was the penultimate level was some kind of shadow lands deal with really annoying enemies.

Not much to go on I know but I have been looking for this game for years now and for some reason the part of my brain that actually has the name in it must have had it's clusters corrupted by malware at some point.
Little Samson, or as it was known in Japan, Lickle.

Woah, that is actually it. Thank you so damn much, I've been trying to find the name of this game for so long I started to think I had imagined it ever existing :D
Haha, it's only my favourite NES platformer of all time! :D Glad to help :)

Its a flash game this time. There was something with you and your tribe/species being psychics. There were bad guys who looked like haunter from pokemon mixed with ghastly (a dark floating ball with disembodied hands). Thats the whole thing. Do note, it just wasn't one game, there were at least 3 games made in the same universe. One was a tactical RPG (Ala FF tactics) while one was an arena rpg and the very first one was a RPG.

There is this game that I am dying to play again, it was on a disk of several Space-oriented games. You were a space ship pilot, it was single player, you flew around shooting asteroids, gathering minerals, killing other pilots, you could go to these stations to sell your shit, get more fuel, etc. I am DYING to play it but have no idea what it's called :C

Unfortunately that's pretty vague. Describes a bunch of space shooters including but not limited to Escape Velocity(series), X(series), Flatspace(series), Elite(series), Solar Winds(Series), Starscape, Darkstar One, and I'm sure a bunch others not even including open source remakes of a few of them.

It was a top down, open world game. You flew a small ship around. The main goal was to shoot asteroids, take the minerals they gave you, take them back to stations and sell them for upgrades. You had limited fuel and had to refuel at these stations. There were AI ships that also flew around and would try to kill you. IIRC the ship you flew was green. That's really all I can remember right now. This was probably a decade ago. Also it was on a disc with multiple similar games.

What about graphics? Were they 2D?  Also, what was the date you played it on?

There was once a PS1 game I would always play in my childhood. I remember the multiplayer making you play as a giant spire, the other player being one on the other side of the map. You would spawn vehicles, airstrikes, and even turret towers to defeat the other player. I also remember it having a mainly Sci-Fi setting.

I miss that game.  :'(

Okay, here is one that I end up lookging for on and off every few years whenever I think of it, but I can never find it or remember the name.

This was a capital ship simulator similar to various old Star Trek games, but definitly NOT in the Star Trek universe.  I played it on the Atari ST, the introduction spash-screen featured a large capital ship (maybe red?) in a battle with a beam raking across its side cutting it open.

The actual gameplay had you warping between sectors on a grid, like Trek.  You also had a wormhole drive or jump drive or something that consumed a huge ammount of fuel, damaged your ship, but would take you very far away to a random part of the universe.  You could tractor beam things, mine asteroids for fuel and resources, trade at starbases for equipment and armaments, defend from aliens that you were at war with.

You didn't directly engage in tactical combat, but you managed everything from the bridge giving orders to different stations, monitoring damage control, deciding when to launch fighters or torpedos or use the phasers.  You had to balance shield power and other engineering type things.

It was a really great capital ship sim, but darned if I can remember what it was called.

Wikipedia says there was a Star Fleet III remake effort as recent as 2008, so maybe theres some hope yet.

Well, this isn't a game, but there's a website with a list of stories about amazing 'discoveries' in a scientific laboratory. The title was an acronym, with 3 letters.

There was a story about a statue that had to be kept in it's own room, and required someone to be looking at it at all times, causing 3 people to help clean it (one to clean, 2 to stare at it) and the 2 had to warn when they were blinking.

There was also a story about a ship that was found, and it had something to do with human teeth.

There are a couple others I can remember, like a rat king, 12 (or so) keys that opened a door, a man with a planet for a stomach, and other such things.

The SCP Foundation. Secure, Contain, Protect or something like that. It's about a secret organisation which keeps supernatural items safe.
