DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

There was a freeware game that played a lot like Advanced Tactics gold, you had PP, supply chains, research, among other things. I think People was in the title, but am unsure.

Peoples Tactics, figured it out

Well then, this should be hard one. It's a game where your crew lands on a ship, you have equipment and you go through rooms looting them or getting info from them. Depending on how often battles occur in a room it might depressurized and lock you from it. I'm pretty sure you might have been ship salvagers.

Unfortunately, I don't remember anything else than that. I remember seeing the game in a YouTube video a few years ago and I ended up thinking about it today. Been bothering me that I don't remember it's name.

If you hadn't said "a few years ago" I might have suggested Deadnaughts.

Wish I could remember more. It's been bothering the hell out of me. Seriously, for the last forty minutes or so I have been doing different google searches to try and find this damn game. It's gonna bother me till I find it or forget about it again.

Oh, that was it. You got it right. When I googled dreadnought, I got some game in beta that hadn't been released yet. Many thanks! And it's nice to know that my sense of time has been so fucked with that 'a few years' is actually one year.

New question: about a game that either was released recently or WILL be released recently.

- Is a dungeon crawler. Diablo-like. In theory

- Isometric gameplay.

- The game takes place in some kind of tomb of some ancient wizard king. It's called the Obelisk or the Ziggurath or somesuch.

- The final boss is some kind of lich (I think)

Do any of these ring a bell?
