Any idea of what system it was released on, or what time it was released?

Some strategy game with 2 alien races invading earth at once, once of the recourses was water and water facilities changed the climate around them. Humans dried up the place, the organic aliens sprayed water everywhere, and the robotic aliens I have no idea because I only played the demo.

Sounds like Maelstrom

it was a simulation "game" on sourceforge I think.
There were cells that had program code in them. They had several operations/actions as commands (to form mini programs) which use different amounts of energy to do their work. (like moving, turning, fight but I think on a more low level form like assembler code).
If the cells (or was it an other entity?) mate they merge code and mutate so that there children have other "assembler commands" and perhaps cannot survive because of not working programs.
It feels like some living and evolving nanites robots or such ;)
I think it had no real visualisations only "debugger" or something to inspect the codes.

You might want to take a look at this list of life-programming sims on wikipedia. I like DarwinBots, although it doesn't sound like that's the one you're looking for.

Some isometric zombie survival game with factions and stuff, it wasnt zomboid, or Rogue Survivor.

There was also this other game recently announced with really blocky characters where you could use basically anything as a weapon against zombies and you could build

I've got a bit of a doozy here.

It was an aerial dogfighting game for PC, guessing early 2000's. The thing was you were miniature toy planes flying around the inside of a house. If I recall, some missions were destroying furniture/whatever, others were dogfights and so on. Other than that I can't remember much of it other than that it crashed fairly often.

Game of gem matching where the goal was to get large marble slabs down to the bottom for your workers to use.
