Madness interactive, or something along those lines, I think. Fairly sure there's numerous of the little buggers and a bucketload of spinoffs, so which one it is in particular, blazes if I know.

Yeah, this sounds like it. Madness Combat flash game?

IIRC it was hella difficult, because bullet time was very limited and you could only take a few bullets before being prwned. :)

Let's see this time.... it was a flash game in black and white (though blood was red). You started the game by creating a character using a simple base template and adding things like a hat, glasses, suit and so on. The characters had no legs and Rayman style hands (floating, the hands were circles).

The game was a stage gun game. You'd go through an area being attacked by thugs and armed gunmen, picking up knives, bats and other weapons along the way, using the mouse to aim and swing weapons and flicking to throw them away when they ran out of ammunition. The story involved something about the city your in running out of pie and your quest for revenge against the mayor.

I believe it was called Mad... something.

@Frumple, Korbac and itisnotlogical: Yup, Madness Interactive. Man, I haven't seen these short movies in at least 6 years. Pretty impressive what people can achieve in flash.

Don't even have to look that up. That's "gorillas", a QBasic game bundled with MS-DOS 5 and 6.

edit: Looked it up. Here's a flash remake: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Moly/gorillas-bas

I'm looking for a very specific game, It's like a driving game, But fighting game, One of the characters is a nerd that drives a hovercraft, and says "But mom! I got my headgear on!" and there are massive amounts of weapons, and tons of levels including one in space where you use little launcher things to propel yourself

You didn't say anything about the art style, but I vaguely remember something called Cel Damage that was a driving beat-em-up with massive numbers of weapons.

Strategy game set somewhere between WW2 and now, real detailed like Hearts of Iron III, but the kicker was it actually listed specific units for the different countries based on what they historically had. I even think you could modify and update designs, stuff like that.

Does this game exist? I remember it being really daunting, if that helps. Hope I'm not just making it up in my head.

Not really a "can't remember the name" as a plea for similar games...

Craving RPGs with base-building sections that aren't Hinterland. Can be on any platform, thinking similar to the Suikoden series (love them all) but with a little more base customisation?

Dragonshard is kinda that, more an RTS with heavy RPG elements and some interesting takes on base building and upgrading units, still a fun game.

Anyways, mine is and isometric RTS from the early 2000's around '01 or '02. It was kinda dark and gritty. I remember the menus being stylized like some sort of medieval lab or something, sandbox or skirmish was called experimentation or something like that and I think there was a game mode or option marked by a flask or something.

The game itself started with your main building and you could build these collection structures around the map and they would drain these lakes or holes or whatever convert them into useful stuff and send them back to your main building. One interesting mechanic is that if the collector was too far away you'd need to build these transmission towers made of stone with these metal rings on top or something which would transfer resources further to the main base.

Not a game, but it's an old screensaver from the early 90s, I think it was the windows 3.whatever era, though it MAY have been just after we go 95, not sure. Anyways, it was a guy standing on a dessert island in the middle of the ocean, and every once in a while he'd do something funny. I used to get up early to watch it as a kid, I was a strange kid.
