That's because they should feel like horrible people, as should you.  The man is screaming over the death of someone important to him.  It's an excessive, overly dramatic scream of the sort considered inexcusably outre in the Anglo-Saxon world, but no less genuine.  I would hope the mangled, bloody people on the ground would be more enough to keep you from laughing at it.
