I'm loving it, especially the newest episode with the cats.

Also, I want it on the record that the Victory Yodel is the funniest thing I've ever heard.

I thought so too. Then I watched them again and realized they're actually incredibly good. For some reason, Futurama's no good when you first try it, but then it becomes addictive. Futurama is the sushi of animated television.

Sushi: Because a Japanese guy once said "You know what this raw fish needs? SEAWEED AND RICE."

I've had to stop watching the new episodes because of how bad they are... I get the impression that since it's airing on comedy central they passed down the word to downplay the sci-fi and jack up the comedy. Which is a shame, because it's apparently completely ruined one of my favorite programs.

You know Comedy Central; They air Seltzer & Friedberg films. This is the audience that must be pandered to in order to keep the world turning. The writers went on strike knowing that the good work had been lost since Comedy Central bought it. They were better off with FOX at this rate.

I mean, at least FOX wants good writers to flip off, and end a show before it's prime. Just look at Firefly.

Oh man. I'm still going to watch them anyway but now I'm predisposed to think they're crap.

Oh well, if they are I'll still have my DVDs.

Didn't really like the first five episodes of the new season, personally. They seemed too random, too desperate for cheap laughs. But the sixth episode made it all worthwhile for me.

The seventh was quite fine, too. Although personally, I didn't see anything wrong with the other ones. As far as Futurama goes, they were very much par for the course. And funny.

It's been hit and miss for me. I enjoyed episode seven, but the Da Vinci one was stupid. A Da Vinci flying machine flapping its wings in space, with none of that wonderful Farnsworth gobbledegook to try and explain how it works. Such a missed opportunity.

I see now that episode eight is available to watch online. That's what I'll do for the next 21 minutes.

So the general consensus:

"I find some episodes funny/passable, but others not funny/passable, unlike some other B12ers."

Hmm... there a non-tv source for these episodes?
