If you enjoy fantastic storytelling...
« on: June 09, 2009, 07:05:57 am »

Read this

I can't even think of any hype that does it justice. Just read it.

Another good one is an Egyptian in Scotland, which was made in RTW and can be found on the same site.

Fourteen chapters in.

This is easily some of the best historical fiction I've read in a long time (that's not in book form).  It's a ton of fun that it's built off an LP.

If you like that I recommend visiting some of the AAR forums on totalwar.org or http://www.twcenter.net

Especially the Europa Barbarorum AAR Section, There is some damn good writers on that like MarcusAureliusAntoninus

(I wouldn't visit totalwar.org with IE though, they've been having some issues lately (its why they have a shitty skin)

In addition, Paradox games like EUIII, Hearts of Iron 2, etc have large AAR communities and good writers. Heres the EUIII AAR forum

For whenever SA is cooperating, there's also a pretty good one in progress about RTR.

Thumbs up on the Paradox AARs. I've long enjoyed them.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.
