With the skeleton firmly in place, we've gained leverage on our production. It seems we're a bit famished in our wood supply though. No problem, it seems we need to take advantage of the open slots to install our boilers anyway. Speaking of the devil, it seems I forgot to remove the limits on our factories. It's no wonder our alternative productions were in short supply. I'm such a fool. First thing's first, the copper we found will be smelted, which shouldn't be any problem. Of course, Kulet feels the need to make his memorial first. I feel with what has been going on, this is the least I can do for him. I've allowed him to make his monument. A statue of her likeness. I don't know what He's going to use though.
----------------------------
Things have been going well. I recalled coming across some various minerals and have decided to mine them out. I found a good supply of cinnabar as well as a good supply of copper. I'm mining it out as we speak.

It seems some humans from Anthath Bugi have decided to visit, but considering how rickety our construction is, they felt it was unnecessary for wagons to go up for the time being, until we have more proper flooring set. I doubt rafters were what they had in mind for trading on, but they did appreciate the view. In fact, one of the crossbowmen saw the potential for piracy using this thing when it's completed. He overheard our trials and figured that this ship would be better titled "Pandora", considering that goblins were foolish enough to open her up. He also seems to be skilled in some fencing, quite the buccaneer this lad is. with his ambition, I can see he's a real fortune hunter; he even named his gun the "Gypsy Magic", and has moves to be matched (I'd like to see his capabilities). Talde Kawerotec (Wardardent) was what I learned his name to be; but he preferred I called him "Zachary, Nathan Zachary". Youngster probably wants to join our military and fight in the skies, I bet. I wish I could do so. We need this kind of ambition. But such a quest tends to bite one in the arse, much like a black swan would. His words of courage cheered up our workers, letting them know that there will be crimson skies once this fist is aloft.
At least the humans keep us rather well entertained with their stories as we trade and wait for mercy to befall us. Plus, the additional protection (with beautiful metallic weapons, not wooden) they provide is an additional plus. In case we get attacked once more, the openness of our ship, as it stands, would provide adequate cover, observation, and range for our temporary protection.
Sana Zangurusmok (Latherfire), has given us some support provisions (meats and etc., and even oysters), no real minerals, but no problem, I'll explain later. But now, with more meats than we can think of; we’ll spend a majority of our remaining plants brewing. Bottom's up!
-----------------------------
I got a report from one of our woodworkers; Mesttos Eralrober (Vesselwiped) just shredded apart a local batman. I think, once he finishes, we have a new guardian. Provided he gets more training, and doesn't hurt anyone sparring.
More of our boat is in production. Our ballista slots have been installed, and our scaffolds deconstructed. A new scaffold is in use for installing our new boilers. Once they're in place, we'll finish patching up the next deck. Production is swifter than I thought. I figured, as log as we keep our trade rather small, we shouldn't attract any new attention. So far, so good. ...Okay, I just looked around. Apparently good-will self-induced leads to ill-will. I recall from the last time.
------------------------------
Inod Zaskathil (Crystalwet) withdrew from us. He seems peculiarly secretive... I wonder what he's up to? I saw him take some goblin bones and just going to town with them. Odd.
We finally have the length of the ship built into place. Ye gods, I never realized just how carping huge this megabeast is. I wonder now just how good of an idea this really is? Who cares! If this thing can fly, then we have no worries from then on (provided we finish).
Oh right, Inod finished his artifact... What the hell is that? A goblin bone idol? ...Not bad looking? Apparently he put some serious work into it. It's even given him outrageous skill. He's decided to repeat results consistently. Very odd. Apparently he named it the Anrebmomuz Nucam Kestig (Ownedcrypts the Consideration of Meteors). Not a bad name; but I appraise it as crap though; only a mere 2400. Why? It's a carping spiky bone goblin idol made of bone. What an insult. We still have citizens still traumatized from several past incidents. I mean, we have a hatch of good symbolism, and a quern that supports our claims better. I mean, it grinds our enemies' nuts into powder for crying out loud!
Work has been fluid and efficient. We haven't even gotten hit by any goblins the entire season. I bet what he have setup so far has something to do with it. Our skeleton is nearing its competition. We are confident this can be done.

Ribbed for Her PleasurePS- Those agonizing dreams! Remember when I said I would explain about it later. Well, I had more dreams as to where to find the materials, as well as a power source for them as well. It was located within the peaks nearby. I noticed there was a copper peak atop one, so I decided, "why not?" and polish it up to serve as a beacon, as well as a sort of sundial for our workers? When I have time, I'll engrave something in there.
