You know how on just about every multiplayer game, there's those morons running around named [CHAO§]Headshotman52[CHAO§]? This takes that, turns it into a game mechanic, and then tries to go for the "badass gangster" look. It's just unimaginable what kind of complete morons this game will most likely be populated with =/

Character editor is awsome though.

If the community was even half-decent, or I was playing with friends, this game seems like it could be awesome. If they don't mess something up.

Oh please, people. This game looks like it has potential. A lot of it even.

I for one will be watching to see how it does, but know I'll probably end up playing it.

It doesn't actually matter what the setting is, the morons are always going to try to make themselves look like they just ran at full speed through a clothes recycling factory or something vaguely similar. The population of intelligent people to morons is always going to maintain more or less the same ratio.

The question is how hard it will be to make a private server.

Better to someone start making private server today... ;D

I personally think that if your MMO requires the purchase of the boxed software, they should provide you with the ability to host your own server. Neverwinter Nights had the right idea, with the sore flaw of not being very fun to play. At all.

It looks interesting, APB. Really, only time will tell, right?

Hmm, you asked me to elaborate on my statement. Hmm, also, you apparently don't know how to use question marks.

Hmm, the game has the same "lolol im a badass gagster" theme as GTA. Morons love that stuff. If you can't tell what I'm talking about, you really need to step back and take a detailed look at that website.

Seriously though: This game will never work. If every character is a hero, then how am I supposed to feel like a cop or robber when I can take 30 assault rounds?

Plus, it's not pay to play (except the first time).

Is this game even still being made?  I remember seeing the website with some concept art (which doesn't seem to exist anymore) like two years ago.  I wrote it off as vaporware when even the press-site vanished.

Uh, yeah. And it's in beta.

There are a lot of podcast movies and in game footage, even by other people/comps that actually played the game.

I signed up for the beta.  I probably won't make it, and even if I do I doubt my computer will run it.

It uses the unreal engine 3. It's known for looking reasonably good and running pretty fast on old comps. So it might run, I think.

I haven't made into beta yet... On the bright side, it wont have a monthly payment, so it will be a bit more like guildwars when it comes to payments.
