Problems with world-gen...
« on: June 08, 2009, 10:11:36 am »

FIRST, I am saying that I have recently added the Orc mod

SECOND, Shortly after adding the Orc mod, every generation fails because not all civs can be placed, and it complains about this. I have tried getting rid of goblins, weakened the orcs, and made a large world, but it still keeps on failing.

Any Ideas to make it work again?

Did you add both the creature and the civ txt files to the raws?
also are you doing any sort of advanced generation or are you just using the standard method?

Yeah, I did INDEED add both of them.
I'm using advanced generation, "create new world now" making parameters, ect.

I think the civ that is the problem is actually the orcs not being able to be placed. If thats the case...

Try increasing the number of starting civ sites.

Also, be sure to use the "large" size and not "standard."

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Well, trying all and failing, I tried getting rid of every modification. The result?

NO CIVILIZATION ENTITYS is what the game specifically said was the problem. So any ideas on how to fix this? All the files are there and...

You know what? I might have to take this to the modding forum. I screwed up this game with mods, so maybe they will know...
