Ascii Uprising: Battle for Unicode Field
« on: June 07, 2009, 03:27:39 pm »

It's a little blurry for some reason. Live with it.

Yellow-Leader
Red-Rifleman
Pink-Sniper
Cyan-Demolition Specialist

Leader has-1 Colt 9mm(Pistol), 1 pair of binoculars, 1 combat knife, 1 Trench Gun(Shotgun), 15 12-gauge rounds+5+1(Chambered), 2 9mm magazines (11 rounds each)+11+1(Chambered).
Rifleman each has-1 Mosin Nagant(Rifle), 1 Helmet, 1 combat knife, 3 rifle cartridges (5 rounds each)+4+1(Chambered).
Sniper has-1 Mosin Nagant(Scoped)(Rifle), 1 Helmet, 1 combat knife, 3 rifle cartridges (5 rounds each)+4+1(Chambered).
Demolition Specialist has-1 Colt 9mm(Pistol), 3 TNT sticks, 2 packets of plastique, Colt 9mm(Pistol), 2 9mm magazines (11 rounds each)+11(Not chambered).

There's a empty tank and jeep inside the compound.
Your move, commander?

EDIT: I need a name for this thing too.
EDIT2: The other game, Anacreon, I couldn't play because there was no way of transferring saves, so now I'm doing this. :D

It's blurry because it's in jpg.

GOLDEN NAME.

Also, what do you suggest I change it to; PNG or JPG?

Change it to PNG. You could also have bitmaps, if you want all of your pictures to be like 5 megabytes large.

Still a little blurry, but not as bad as before.

okay, The sniper should take up a position where he can easily see both guards to the compound, two rifle men should approach the road and get in cover, being careful not to be seen.

The remaining rifleman, Commander and Demo Expert are to move east to the North wall of the compound. There the Demo will set up enough explosives to blow a hole in the wall, but not yet.

FIRE IN THE HOLE! BREACH!

Also, sniper takes the patrollers, and riflemen take stationary guards.

That Yellow enemy their leader?  If so he looks like he's fair bit in the open, can the sniper get a bead on him?

Hmm...I think you should signal the sniper and riflemen to open up on the guys in the road, then the gate.
Wait until they've drawn the garrison's attention (pulled them out position?), then blow the charges and move in.

Or should it be the other way around?  Nah, that neutralizes your sniper's advantages, to some extent.  Plus, it means they'll be shooting at you.

No, but those recruits might hurt someone in their confusion over the explosion. (Hint Hint)

This might take a while.
EDIT: No to the 'Sniper getting a bead on him' part. He's definitely their leader. Or at least a captain.

Hmm...in that case, see if we can set up on the south wall.  Closer to the tank, and the enemy.
Hell, if we set it up right, we might be able to hit the recruits with the blast from the wall.

Set up south if the wall blast can hit the recruits. If not, just go with the north breaching plan.

North breach + gate takedown leaves the recruits with no cover, save for the tank.
