If you pay the shipping fees (from the CZR) and send me the money to buy another sock (I'm living in poverty over here), I will totally mail you one.

Screw selling T-shirts, this is way easier!

You might want to not put it on your website that you're selling strangers your used socks. It could send the wrong message...

What if I drew a stick figure on the sock?

Then you would be sending a wrong, but incredibly cute, message.

Geez, who on earth would want an old sock?

What's the CZR anyway? Czech Republic?

New comic is up!

This one is based on an essay I wrote a few years ago about how trees are secretly violent - we just don't notice because they move so slowly.  I hope you all enjoy it.

Carpenter ants.  They eat through the wood of the tree, making holes all over it, and eventually the tree dies.

Hi everyone!  I've been a lot more active in making comics lately, so I thought I'd necro my old thread and invite you all to have a read.  I'm considering moving to a new hosting service, since Comic Fury kind of sucks and I can't get the layout to be anything like I really want it to be.  (Prime example: I can't figure out how to get a "previous" button on the front page, so in order to go back through the comics you have to click "last" then "previous" from there.  Also, comments don't show up on the front page.)  If anyone has a suggestion, let me know!

The comic is still at http://asimplelife.thecomicseries.com for now.  Lately I've been doing more quick little journal comics to keep myself drawing.  I've also been working on a series of "imaginary interviews" with some of my favorite cartoonists, drawn in their style to help my own skills.  So far it's been great fun.

Hope you enjoy them!

I've clearly forgotten how utterly cute your comic is Sappho.

Ha, I totally forgot about the sock thing! I apologize, Umiman.  The Czech postal system is so nutso that I'm not sure how to go about pricing the shipping, but I'll see what I can do.

I'm trying to decide now which cartoonist to "interview" next.  I'm thinking maybe Randall Monroe of XKCD, on account of I can actually draw stick figures.  On the other hand, I don't know if I can draw a comic in his style that actually lives up to the legend that is XKCD...
