Adventure Mode Expansion Ideas

This goes along with adventurer skills. Some of these ideas may have been suggested before, sorry if it was. I couldn't find this stuff in eternal voting.

Hirelings/Companions/Slaves
Basically, this idea is the ability to hire/convince/intimidate people to join your efforts. They can  have the same role as dwarves in DF, but they can leave at any time if they are not paid/satisfied/afraid. Perhaps designations would be a bit more freeform, and they would be more or less suggestions instead of orders. You wouldn't be able to control anyone but your own dwarf, and your always centered around your dwarf, so you can't see what a dwarf is doing without being there.

Building Templates
Since you don't order your laborers exactly what to do you should be able to tell them to build a building of a certain size. Then its up to them where they put it, how its laid out, and such. You could have them build houses, stores, workshops, etc.

They are useless economically at this point. All they do is fight for you, they don't work for you.

Yes but it's already in the dev notes that they will, at some point, be hire-able, coercable, etc.   Everything you've suggested here is already planned.

Yes but it's already in the dev notes that they will, at some point, be hire-able, coercable, lovable, betrayable, maroonable, murderable etc.   Everything you've suggested here is already planned.
