Double Mountainhomes!
« on: June 02, 2009, 03:23:59 pm »

My most recent fort is, to me, an odd one.

Why, you ask?

Two dwarven civs. I have never seen this before and I'm not sure if this is normal or a glitch.

Also, does anyone know if I will risk getting two kings?

And yeah, two goblin civs, but that just means more targets to kill.

One way to find out. If you do get two, I'm all in favour of using Dwarf Companion and putting them in an arena and making them fight until only one emerges alive. Only then will you know which Mountainhome is best

Nothing wrong here, its totally possible to have different civs from the same race, its just rare to see this in smaller worlds, its far more common in large worlds.

And no you're not getting two kings, you're only part of one civ, you just have to find out which.

Actually, this is kind of out of the norm in my opinion, you don't normally see the other dwarven civs in your civ list, because you only get a caravan from your own civ.
So no, you won't get two kings, but I'm curious how the other dwarven civ showed up there.

I hear if you embark on a different than recremended civ, you can get the wrong dwarvern caravans... which causes a few problems.

Ah, okay. Thanks muchly. Still. Would've been interesting to have two kings.
