I'm not dragging a giant desert scorpion through the desert for a day until I'm superdwarvenly tough.

You can also try to subdue a creature, cage it, and later tame it.

Sounds dangerous to try with a crossbow, but good to know.

Edit - Not that I intend to fight any giant scorpions. Being a hunter, I'll hopefully know the difference between giant scorpion tracks and whatever else I actually want to hunt. If all else fails, I guess I could ride the mule to get away.

I thought this was heavily based on Dwarf Fortress, where pets always return to follow their owner around.

Regrettably, I did forget to bring carrots.

It is. But I think if you were a mule, and you saw a giant desert scorpion, you would run.

Josh, Okiendo, Strife and Legolord must post an action.

And agree on a spot to stop the wagon.

The bend in the brown squiggle looks good.  I think I'll just make bauxite mechanisms for awhile.  A long while.  Until we're all ready for the move inside.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

We may have arrived in the dry season, so the dried up river may revive sometime later in the year, so anyone wanting to build anything in the gulch should keep that in mind.

Am I wearing anything Org?
