Just started TF2. Figgered out I somehow got the Chargin' Targe when I wasn't looking.
Played for about a minute. TF2 froze. Had to reset PC.

Cuts you off from a few different playstyles, but generally people can get by with the starter weapons.

This. I find the pyro's original set much more KREDIT TO TEEM than the unlocks. Shotgun comes in handy much more than Flaregun in my opinion
Same could be said about the opposite. Take the Heavy. His Sandvich and KGBs are better than reg'lar, but Sasha is a keeper.
Honestly, it's mostly the player's opinion. That opinion can open up many playstyles, as Worker said.

Actually even slightly better than that, as we've been averaging around 20 players on at a time with long periods of being full. Have to see how it goes once the free weekend is over.

btw has the server been updated yet from last nights mini update?

I always choose fun weapons over credit-to-team weapons. And ones I need to get achievements with too.

I expect a slight influx from the Icecave clan, that i am a part of (Sorta, it's a finnish-type clan, though they all speak english) as Some of them appear to be taking an interest in the game.
