Crazy video. So yes, back on track. Server prices? What should be a reasonable amount for say a 20 player server then? $20?

Public servers are usually a bit above $1 per slot.

This is the cheapest place I know of and it splits the bill between more than one people automatically if you want to, so yeah, we can all cut in:

Unless you set up your own server. Like I said, If I lived up there, you wouldn't have to pay a thing.

You sure? It requires around 10-15kb/s upstream per slot on a 500fps server, not counting voice.

It is easy to admin if you use either HLSW or Mani's.

Bitching aside, I have comcast's fastest internet (DLed Ubuntu Linux from torrents maxes out speed at 1.5 megabytes/second) and a Core2duo machine overclocked to 4 ghz with 8 gigs of DDR2 RAM at 1066 mhz that I'm not using right now because I'm posting from my laptop. :P

I have 32 player Red Orchestra and Soldat from it before, so I doubt there would be connection issues.

I will shut the server off I'm on a Project Reality kick though XD

EDIT: Now Downloading TF2 Dedicated Server 1.5 mb/s 34%

Thank you very much Kael, how long will you be hosting this for? How reliable are you? And is your internet service provider going to be ok with this?
