Uranium elementals are highly unstable and die quickly, not nearly as powerful as the Tungsten Elemental!

Some entries I found about tungsten...

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
tung·sten n. Symbol W
A hard, brittle, corrosion-resistant, gray to white metallic element extracted from wolframite, scheelite, and other minerals, having the highest melting point and lowest vapor pressure of any metal. Tungsten and its alloys are used in high-temperature structural materials; in electrical elements, notably lamp filaments; and in instruments requiring thermally compatible glass-to-metal seals. Atomic number 74; atomic weight 183.84; melting point 3,410°C; boiling point 5,900°C; specific gravity 19.3 (20°C); valence 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Also called wolfram.

tungsten

Symbol: W
Atomic number: 74
Atomic weight: 183.85
White or grey metallic transition element, formerly called wolfram.
Forms a protective oxide in air and can be oxidized at high temperature.
First isolated by Jose and Fausto de Elhuyer in 1783.

\Tung"sten\, n. [Sw. tungsten (cf. Dan. tungsteen, G. tungstein); tung heavy (akin to Dan. tung, Icel. [thorn]ungr) + sten stone. See Stone.] 1. (Chem.) A rare element of the chromium group found in certain minerals, as wolfram and scheelite, and isolated as a heavy steel-gray metal which is very hard and infusible. It has both acid and basic properties. When alloyed in small quantities with steel, it greatly increases its hardness. Symbol W (Wolframium). Atomic weight, 183.6. Specific gravity, 18.

tungsten

n : a heavy gray-white metallic element; the pure form is used mainly in electrical applications; it is found in several ores including wolframite and scheelite [syn: wolfram, {W}, atomic number 74]

So, to answer the Wolfram thing.....I don't know. But this info should allow most imformation for someone to add in the mighty tungsten to their Armok universe!

That was a reasonable length spelguru post.  Let's see.

How will the game decide if auras are evil/good?  They can be linked to evil/good auras in the aura editor now...  but as for absolute morality, that will need to be decided at the universe level somehow...  when I do gods and metaphysical stuff.  Action judgments will probably work the same way.  The universe will need a list/something of prohibited/encouraged actions.  These could be different for different religions/civs, but there could also be another list for the universe, that corresponds to whatever is "correct", like, which religion was right.  Or they could all be right.  Or wrong.  Or rightish.

As for the deer/hunter set up...  the game will probably choose to leave the morality of actions unassigned in most cases.  If the person targeted the deer (through the game interface), then the morality of the action is clear (unless killing animals is forbidden, etc.).  Other things like self-defense can be assigned based on the universe morality assuming the game can detect self-defense.  That might be hard...  how much time has to elapse before a now-peaceful creature that attacked you is morally unattackable?  Crap like that.  Also, since the game can read the minds of all non-player creatures, it will have to be careful not to let the player gain morality points for accidentally killing an evil creature that the player doesn't know is evil.

I guess the main point is that whatever system I come up will be abusable and bad.  I'll just have to try my best.  One thing is clear...  morality will vary between universe, like everything else.

Incidentally, an adulterous great paladin of goodness is probably like, not good or great.  He can still kill you though, so it's really a moot point.

You can make dragons however you want, or get Denim to do it when he's not busy and the game is further along.  In my own stock universe that I put out with the game, I'd probably have a range of intelligences in dragon-like creatures.  Or a range of stock universes provided with the game, really...  enough to suit the major taste groups among people who don't want to use editors.  People who can handle a few simple slide bars will open up enough personal customization through the universe editor, once I make it.

Ideally, I'd like to have the option of having dragons be whichever of those flavors you like.  Then I'll code as many of them as I can before I'm dead.  That's how it works.  I'm not set on anything.  I want the experience to be completely mutable.  Or it will be like Morrowind with worse graphics, and I might as well program curses games all the time.  Eventually, some game studio with 50 employees is going to nullify Armok with an actual good game, anyway.  Then it'll be Primordial Souper Star, 24-7.  Yeah.

What exactly do you mean by black dragons besides that they are a different color?

They should also be larger (about the size to swallow two humans in 1 bite), the scale should be tougher to penetrate. And spit acid instead of fire (might have to wait for the magic release for that). Also *VERY* smart yet also very cruel. After the magic patch they should be able to cast various harmful spells. Their ability to smell should be equal to a dogs, but their eyesight and hearing should be somewhere around a humans. They to not have any type of infravision or nightseeing.

If you would create this creature for me I would be very grateful.

There should be a breed of black dragons that are similar to their kin in Nethack - i.e breathing disintegration beams! Heh heh heh.

Why not a "bad breath" breath attack?

Nah.  There's already too much to be added.  I don't even know where that was going to be put in, since it isn't a major priority (compared to things like towns, clothes, caves, etc.).  It won't take all that long...  the structure is already in place in the code, it just needs to be implemented.  Maybe after the combat release or something...
