You should probably build from either my or sonerohi's palisade. By adding palisade in a circular manner, we'll build a village wall while and still have security while we're building it. Plus, it'd look cool.

Well, I'm not sure if its Malicius's fort near me or not... Its a pallisade fort, with a personal forest in the north part of it, and i just saw the owner of it who bragged how his wall was bigger than mine. I forgot to check the name though, so it might not be Malicius and thus not his fort I am talking about.

And DJ, which for is yours?

Also, there was a public meat grinder last time i played. Now i cant seem to find it, the village changed so much... were is it?

And also, who can add me to the village please?

Nah, not mine.  The forest I'm making is to my east, and I haven't done any in-game bragging about my palisade yet.

Also, KoE, did you try the strength of pallisades too?

The devs gave us numbers for palisades and brick walls. A palisade can be damaged by someone with 20 Strength and a pickaxe, 30 strength and a stone axe, or 40 strength and nothing (to my understanding). However, it's still going to take a while to tear down. The brick wall requires 90 / 100 / 110 for the same circumstances.

The formula as I understand it is (STR / 10) + 1 for stone axe or +2 for pickaxe, minus the object's damage reduction. Palisades are 3, brick is 10.

Also I hope my freaking clay isn't back in the claypits now. I went through a lot of trouble for that.

I have acquired a soldier's sword, so you can have my militia sword. Anyway, not much time to play right now, but I'll come online for a short while to add you to the village.

As for safe storage in my palisade, sure, but you're not getting a copy of the key. Call me paranoid, but I don't want anyone that lives outside the palisade to have it's key. It could get stolen or something.

Hey I just started playing but the server restarted.  Where are all the bay 12 peoples?  Can I join the village?

I now have -96- freaking logs (and 557 wood blocks).  I'm going to start planting my forest denser and chopping the trees earlier, since what I'm really aiming for are the forest tiles, not the wood.

We could use some wood down at Bottleneck for palisades, but I'm not sure if it's worth the looong drive. Or did you move?

The place I'm at now is closer than where Malicus lives, but not by that much.
