I feel the need to update everyone on just how much freaking wood I have.  So...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It seems that it crashed, though, so I can't give an exact count of the number of wood blocks I have (they're being stored in those construction sites, which are palisade corners) and it might roll back some of the work I did, but...  bleh.

On the bright side, I grabbed as much of my steel as I could and logged out so I could save that screenshot RIGHT before the crash, it seems.  Possible dupe ahoy?

:o How much time and wood did that fort take?? I'm guessing you had to cut down a whole forest for it. I'll try to make a brick wall around my place eventually, since clay is unlimited (from clay pits)

You'll need wrought iron for the cornerposts and steel for the gates. Good luck.

It's not that bad. You only need thirty-five wrought iron and five steel for a perfect square wall. I already finished mine. It's in the middle of downtown BN.

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.

:O

I'll stick to making the smallest kind of wooden fence then...

Fun trivia: We had 76 simultaneous players logged in a few hours ago, which is a new record. Welcome everyone from Something Awful!

From SA? Damn. I think its time to abandon this game. If you thought griefing was a problem before, well... I bet there will be nothing left of worth in all of bottleneck in, say, 10 days.

Yeah, that's why everyone is trying to build some walls around their stuff.

Alright guys, time to clear-cut a nearby forest and make a Palisade around all of Bottleneck.

I think i might end up waiting until map reset to really play again. Probably by then they'll have even better anti-theft/grief measures like more locks and stuff

EDIT: Nah, I'm too impatient to try the game again. So someone tell me, how good is the twig fence? Cause anything else is impossible for me to do right now
