who wants to work on the new map pre-designed base?

we will rish the the best spot for it as soon as the map comes out.

things that should be implemented:

-cart doors
-dry rack wall
-undergound MASSIVE storage

also, is it possible to go down 2 z-levels when mining?

Unless you suck up to the devs until they give you a mine within a mine, it is impossible.

You also can't pre-design a spot until you see the resource allocations of it.

resources...trees, can be transported, clay, with hemp you can replant grass for more clay, tiresome but inifinite, wheat/hemp/tea leave/ect, plantable, ore, of course available

only things really needed are a stone and a well, unless we are near lake....and if we make an undergorund city we could focus a small island into a purely defensive structure, like archer points and stuff....because they arent going to let us be immune to danger with drying rack forever...

also, we could all have our own dryrack doors to take down abd put up, with a tree nearby for branches and baskets to mark where that specific rack is. mught be better then carts.

Is this just a random comment, or you offering to join my expedition?

...so I put a mine in your mine, so you can mine while you mine.

Just a random comment.  >_>  I don't play Haven and Hearth.

I just saw a character named "Bottleneck Guide" go by on Nil's road that I'm improving, and some other person was following behind him.  Is that someone here?

That was me, taking a new immigrant to Bottleneck. It's PenguinOverlord, he moved into my old house.

I found out who our thief was.

It was freakin' JORB!

So I suppose we can go off alert status. If anybody was on it but me. Which I doubt.

I somehow had an inkling of an idea that it might be one of the devs when you said you got a 'Cannot be tracked from this location' error :P

New city: A well isn't that difficult to find or something. There's always one in the victinity.

Settling IN the mine would be interesting AND dwarvy (as soon as new world comes, I'd like charwipe too). Prepare to need a shitload of candelabrums, torches, campfires etc. We'll need trees right outside, a farming district, potentially some desert, definitely a forest, ...

I didn't see a new world announced eiter, so this might be moot...

I'm sure the Dev's will allow you to make a underground city, with a mine. I mean, they made a tribute Battleaxe for Bay12Games, the only thing to complete the ensemble would be allowing us to make a actual Dwarf Fortress. Oh, and grow beards.

Bosh.  80 percent or more of the upper part is your work.  Just call your road your road and stop calling it my road.  Besides, it will be confusing.  someone will say "I ll meet you at the north end of nils road"  and when the person arrives, they will think "Whats this?  They said to meet at nils road, which as everyone knows is a work of the utmost craptacularness.  But this road is a staggering work of dwarvenly proportion...This must be the wrong place."  And then they will wander off in search of my road and be eaten by a grue.
So no, the part you are working on is, as far as Im concerned, the Malicus SuperXpressway.  The bit that goes past the sinister roadhouse is mine.

Which is by the way, craptacular.

 ;D

Oh, and Sowelu, I'm in the market for Honey Buns. ALOT of Honey Buns. You won't freaking BELIEVE how many Honey Buns I want to buy from you. It is absolutely fucking ridiculous, I'm telling you, the amount that I want to obtain, just from you.

You will shit bricks.
