There's a map in the first post.

Anyway, how many people are currently residing in Bottleneck? Hands up if you are. I am, but I'll go off on a small expedition in a day or two, and will move my hearth away for a couple of days. I'm coming back as soon as I achieve my objectives, though.

I'm still here, and I don't plan on giving up any time soon.

I wonder how you pronounce that...

So, I guess I'll give this game a whirl. I suppose most of you are at the farthest away, blue-circle camp?

just joined, already think that all the trees and stones are messed up because some clan or something wants to mess all the newbies up.

skill system is annoying and there is no tutorial. cant figure out how to attack stuff. luckly i found an apple tree and plenty of wildlife around that wont attack me so im good for now.

all i can think of doing is making a billion wicket baskets and but all the available skills.

EDIT: also thanks to my curiosity and other game exp it seems holding down shift while cliking on branches automatically puts them into the build menu...among other things

I don't think attacking is implemented yet, other than for griefers. The only responses to a fox attack are:
1: Run away
2: Die

Luckily, as long as you have HHP (the red bar), you just faint and the fox wanders away.
If you run out of HHP, then you die.

It's a bug. It's called a server crash. :)

Yes, combat is in the game, but you can't fight things until you have the appropriate basic skills, unlike most games.

Damn Malicus beat me to it.

Also the appropriate responses to a Fox attack would be thus.

1. Run away. (Yes, like the little girl you are.)
2. Getting knocked out isn't a response, its merely a consequence of either not running away, or not doing number 3 properly.
3. Get it stuck behind a rock or tree, or cliff, and fill it with LOTS OF ARROWS. Though I can kill a Level 2 fox with five or seven arrows average. I'm lucky like that.

Alternatively, if your CRAZY like Malicus, have Plate Armor (like Malicus) and enough points in Melee, you can properly kill a fox up close and personal. (Like Malicus)

DAMN YOU MALICUS.

You just need the skills.

Foxes are easy if you have; A bow, quiver, and at least 12 marksmanship, or; About 25+ Melee and a sword.

You unlock more skills by learning skills!

Yes.

Well, actually, it IS a response if you really don't want to be left with the aggro on you with no cabins to duck into to remove it, and you can't kill them...
