I'm on now, for a little bit...  slowly making the journey to the new site.  I -was- taking my chest, but some foxes and a bug robbed me of it.  Now I'm in a swamp waiting on leeches to do their thing.

Edit:  Also, I see rats.  Should I fear them?

Is it just me or is it impossible to find a boulder? ;o;

Also, I found it hilarious that the entire forest next to us is void of all trees. Somewhere right now, elves are bawling their eyes out.

Edit:
How do I drop things? As in when you use the lift command to hold them above your head. I put most of my stuff into a basket so I could carry planks to build a cabin, but now I can't figure out how to put the basket back down.

Don't take anything that will slow you down. I've already ventured to the lake and I got aggro'd by the same fox twice. :(
Rats are harmless.

EDIT: By the way, it is a long walk.

I'm on but in the old camp.

Is there a mining spot by the new one? I need my ores.

I think mining spots aren't generated yet, so we need to request one.

I got to the new site and found... one house.  Is this the right spot?

Edit: And also some runestone about sacred trees.  Wtf, is this an elf camp?!

No one has established anything in the new spot, so I guess it would be. <_<

I'm going to drop a runestone in front of my house, then I'm going to log out, since there is something else I usually do on Saturdays.

I'll do it when I get to where Malicus's runestone is.

EDIT: 4th time on this trip I was knocked out by a fox.

Nobody has yet, but I'll try to rephrase where to find it.  From Brogdar, look quite a way south-southeast (about six rings out) until you see some water on the map.  South of the river part is a place where cliffs (the straight lines) form a bottleneck.  That's where it is.  It's quite the walk, and you'll probably get knocked out by a few foxes on the way.

In other news, I got a point of constitution from filling the purple bar on my character sheet, so now I have 32 max HP.

What viciously cunning ways to raise experience have you people figured out for the lower-level people? I'm currently spamming stone axes, got two skills' worth of XP in five minutes. Also, what exactly do we do once we're gathered? Can we just punch through the cliffside and start an underground fort?

I'm myself, and currently in Brodgar, or so evidence would suggest (I haven't moved anywhere from the starting place yet).

It's easier just to weave baskets. Mines go straight into the ground, by the way.
