I'm getting ready to grind for Yeomanry. There are a lot more skills than I thought.

How do we make a mine, though?  Or can we?

We need a secret catchphrase. I propose the following:

Greeting: Is your Arm OK?

Response: It needs blood. Blood for the blood god!

This is actually from an old thread somewhere. I have no idea where.

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.

I propose we set up cabins marked for food, supplies, etc. storage.

EDIT: Yeah, that was some thread awhile back where Toady was talking about dragslay or something. He said Armok came from a variable named "arm_ok" in dragslay

the Hearthfire can be moved by building a new one.

Does anyone know how to use the dowsing rod?

Equip it and walk around, from time to time you get a sonar like thing.
The settlement we have now is nice and all, good for starter practice. But i think we should get dwarvenly and settle somewhere far away

People, where exactly -is- the colony? Near my place?

Not to mention that some bastard raided my camp. Well, losses are replaceable, and there is a lot of charcoal in my kiln.

God damn it, without a bonesaw the game is that much less interesting. I'm near the northern red blob if anyone wants to know... waiting for some goddamn bones. Fox? Beat me in one-on-one. And I can't punch the cows to death. So, do I need to grind to archery or what?
