I really want to get in on this. I love Wurm and other such Sandbox MMOs, yet I missed out on a DF town on every occassion. Lets hope I can get involved here. Registering and planning to travel to outpost.

WElcome to it.  Its all set up and ready.   Kiln is a bit to the west, near the desert.  *makes getting clay easier*

I've got work to do all this afternoon, but when I get on, I will work on grinding up some skillpoints. I'll need a few more combat skills and another dream before I head southeast.

BTW this was not my idea.  Thanks to errol, malicious, tree, and everyone else who came up with it.
I just happened to be the first dwarf to make it.
But seriously, its a sweet location.

Cheers guys.

I followed the map on page 5 posted by Geandro for about 30 seconds and found it. Asked a guy nearby if this was the Bay12ers place and he said yeah. So I guess I'm in.

I'm done. I tried to get to the outpost three times. I disconnected twice and the last time I was pursued by foxes the whole way. There needs to be a limit on how far enemies still pursue. One fox was stuck behind a cliff that had to be miles away, yet it and I were still in combat together. I also got knocked out once because there is nothing telling me how to fight.

Howcome a new settlement has been started? Is it a much better site, near a mining site for example?

I might consider heading over that way if it is, although I doubt it as we're pretty well set up here.

Well, for one thing, the original site was WAY too close to the starting position.  I haven't actually BEEN to the new one yet, so I don't know how it is.

Yeah sucks bad.
I lost loads and loads of skill points I had spent ages grinding making THE BASKETS.

But we shall persevere.

How do you build houses? Everything I've done so far was learnt via trial and error and general clicking of every button available.

Less of a crash more of a hiccup, I was half way through building something and its not vanished so I'd bet your stuff is fine too.
