This is ridiculous. It's not even funny. I had two ranger bows (ironically duped) and a silk thread set aside just in case I were to lose such things to crashes. I lost that thread a long time ago, but both bows have been swallowed whole by the crash monstrosities in rapid succession.

And my god damn quivers are all gone. If I didn't have my own amazingly secure compound I'd probably have to move back to BN just to avoid being horribly mauled. Shame I banked on marksmanship getting upgraded instead of just pumping my unarmed.

Anyway ranting aside, this time my bear meat was, in fact, duped, so I'm even richer in delicious strength products than before. And also in the market for silk threads and/or four filaments.

Frelock, if you'll post here and/or send me a PM on the forums (here or H&H) when you want to trade cakes for bangers, I'll come along and do so.

And finally, the recruitment topic looks good - hope it goes well.

I made a ranger's bow, but I don't think I'll be using it any time soon as I'm focusing on unarmed right now. Anyway, I'll sell it for an obscene amount of deer dogs and fox wursts.

Fox wursts I can do. Deer dogs may be a little trickier as the local venison is quite adamant about staying on its bones, and now it bites back (plus my agility's lagging too). I've also got a lot of cast iron laying around if you need that (at least half a chest. Probably a bit more.)

Of course, silk thread would still be preferable as I have the steel bar on hand.

I swear, these crashes are related to me setting up my last jorbonzola rack. They happen within moments of me doing it. That's the third time, literally. At least my crucibles won't get reset, though it's irrelevant since I'd let them burn out during the last set of crashes.

Anyway, Del, I already fixed the bow situation and am currently keeping it tied to my person.

ARGHLE BARGHLE FUCKING HELL THESE CRASHES

I swear I'd lose less if I was robbed every single day. I lost steel making process 4 times in a row, plus 28 cocoons. Fuck.

It would be nice if we had some sort of CivCensus thing going on... a list with resident names that is fairly up to date. So I dont have to go ARGH is this guy a thief or does he belong here? everytime I meet somebody who isnt on my kinlist. Also, DJ I'll be looking out to get ure new char on my kinlist.

Poltifar, your poppies are blooming. It'd be nice of you to replant them and share some of the seeds around town.

Is it my imagination, or do they take 4 real-days to grow?

I've started a public poppie field east of carrots and south of grapes. Please don't take all the seed when you harvest there - use some to replant and expand the field.

Note that even full-nature farmers only ever get 2 seeds at most. If you don't have full nature, ask someone who does to harvest some seeds for you.

I'll stop by and do some replanting myself, and I'll leave extra seeds in a basket.

Uhm, you mean onions? I consistently get 3 seeds from poppies, but I get just one onion 4 out of 5 times (the rest is two onions).

Oh yes, I've started an onion patch by the ovens. As PTTG was saying, don't harvest onions unless you're full nature.

Huh, one onion most of the time? Then wait for them to grow more. There are 2 stages at which you can harvest them, the first only gives 1, the second can give 2 or more. (I think)

Gah. Loftar recently decreased the price of candleabras to a mere 2 cast iron. I was going to start up some street lamps in Bottleneck using my little cache of the stuff when the server crashed. I probably won't get around to starting it again today, so if anybody wants some candle-light outside their house, feel free to request for me to drop one there.

It may take a while to get to you, though, as I plan to illuminate some of the major thoroughfares and areas I'm aware that are used often. (Namely, the mines, the communal baking area, and some of the way in between).

EDIT:

Huh, apparently the work got saved anyway. So there are currently candleabra at the intersection just north of the mines, the mines themselves, outside Goran's place, outside Poltifar's place, outside Talvara's place, and at the public bakery. Feel free to move them (to a more fitting public place, of course), fill in holes with your own cast iron, or to suggest areas that need new ones. I'll probably be making this my pet project for a while.
