See the world map? The lake to the south?  Just south of there, between the forest, the lake and the desert.  Where the ridges form a bottleneck

On an unrelated note, how do I get seeds?

Heh. This looks interesting. I'm joining under the name of Boksi(big surprise there).

So. I think I see the place on the map, but I'll hold off going there until I can actually fight off a little wildlife.

People, where exactly -is- the colony? Near my place?

it's here
at the Cyan blob
At that blob?  Whoops, I set up at the text itself, inside that forest...  The runestones suggested I was in the right spot, too.  Ah well.

Labs:  I already built mine, too.  Why don't we stay where we are and grind skills before we move?  Lemme know where your camp is, and I'll help you out.

EDIT:  Nevermind, apparently my entire site got wiped, including the hearth fire. >:(  Right... so, where's the new camp?  There are two lakes to the south that I see:  One a fair ways south-southeast, the other way the hell to the south west.

The closer of the two.  Foxes will probably knock you out a coulple times on the way.  Make sure you bring a dream so you can set a hearth fire.  Its not a walk you ant to make often.
Edit - Or three.  Almost there.
Now building a fox-proof fence!
AHG walked all the way again, built hearth fire, couldnt save and quit.  X did nothing.
Think im done for the night

*sigh* One of the random resets ate the dream I started with...

How exactly do I go about getting another one?  I sense grinding in my future.  :P

I walked three times to the new colony and each time was foiled by the server. I'm giving up on that and setting my hearth at the old town for now.

Build a dream catcher, from shearing sheep and branches.
Or just harvest a dreamcatcher from the ring.

This game lags a lot. Even the ingame mouse lags.

It says on the skill description that you can only build mines on "geological features". Does anyone know what these look like and if there are any of them near the new fortress?

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.
