Warhammer 40k:Space Marine Game
« on: May 28, 2009, 12:15:00 pm »

My god-emperor. This was amazing. New 40k game coming out for Xbox360. Although a hack and slash, it looked pretty good.

Watch it. Discuss.

Old news. It COULD be good.

My only qualms is its the damn Ultramarines...but at least its not the god damn Blood Ravens again.

It would be to good for me to get my hopes up about the Black Templars, but at LEAST its not the Deathwatch or anything at all on the Inquisitions chains.

Other than coming in at the right time when you actually WANT a world blown up, they always manage to screw everyone over.

Eh, I'll probably get this at some point despite the Smurfs.

I hope for over 10'000 animations for combat and situational placement, thousands of enemies on screen at once, and the actual ability to wield a Daemon Hammer.

Because that thing just looked badass.

Not that it matters, because I was referring to the Daemon Hammer. The actual Daemon Hammer. The one used to CRUSH the Bloodthirster's head.

I can't wait to use my Wii-mote to swing a daemonhammer around and kill tons of Orks just b- ... oh wait. Hah.

But meh, the trailer is so stereotypical, that it just hurts. The music... the cutting... *yawns* seen it all, but I dunno. Game seems okay, if I had a 360, I'd get it. Though I hope they actually changed the Bolters from being UZIs (first gameplay trailer) to actual Bolters.
Also, doesn't seem like you could take part of big ass epic massive battles. Which Warhammer is all about. :I

I don't know. Charging into a mob of around 30 Orks and single handedly kicking HALF of their asses with a single swing, but still having another 600 or so waiting around the next corner (which shouldn't take so long to get to as the next swing will kill the other half of that mob) sounds like a good compromise.
