Need help with determining quality with mayday tileset
« on: May 28, 2009, 11:10:21 am »

I'm using the mayday tileset, which changes some of the font characters to weird images. This means that I have no way of knowing what the quality of items is. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Can't you just read the descriptions?

After reading a the descriptions on a few different quality items you should be able to match the unfamiliar characters to their quality.

I did have trouble with this, but, there is an easy way to figure it out. The one thing that does help is the description though. Artifacts as usual have unique names. Well crafted uses the bar symbol, basic quality is blank, superior quality uses the ore symbol (same as what platnium uses for example), superior quality is a pile of bars, finely crafted uses a cross (or a floor tile), and masterwork quality is the crystal.

Just read the description, then you'll be able to associate the different signs. I know that - is the lowest, then it goes up and I know em at a glance, but can't say them from my head/

There's also a quality list in the help menu.

Just blank is actually the lowest quality, basically zero quality.
