No nobles means also no Dungeon Master and no Philosopher.

Unless you know something about the Philosopher we don't, that's literally no loss (in practical terms at least), and the DM is only useful if you wanna tame exotic animals.

I'm gonna join the others in saying that the OP's fortress has potential, but he'd have to be very fucking patient, even if he modded his game to make kids grow up faster.

At theoretical best (short of modding some creative furnace reaction for insta-dwarfs), he'd have to hold down the entire fort with what he has until dwarfs start having kids.  Even if they could somehow become instant adults, that's not going to happen very quickly.

Yeah, but he could just dig a Pit, and put a statue garden at the bottom, then seal the entrance, no immagrants means that he doesnt have to deal with the outside world, at all, EVER.

Elf and human caravans. Humans bring good supplies and metal bars, elves can bring very fun pets (try offering them masterpiece armor and weapons for a year or two. THAT got me a giant desert scorpion).

218. No matter my alignment, organizing halfling pit fights is a violation.
231. I am not allowed to do anything that would make a Sith Lord cry.
240. Any character with more than three skills specializing in chainsaw is vetoed.

I have a fort like this. The only civs other than my little outpost are goblin civs, so no trade w/humans and elves, I had to mod the rose gold reaction to get an anvil, and it's been only a few RL days before they started getting married by the screenfull

I never use migrants.

You can accomplish a surprising amount with seven dwarves, their children, and a ludicrous framerate because of low population.

...short of modding some creative furnace reaction for insta-dwarfs)...
Is that possible?  It'd be pretty awesome, just forging new Dwarves.  "Send in the Clones!"
What materials should you need?

The dwarven economy is just a stand-in, from what I understand. As it is, it represents an actual economic system about as well as poison ivy represents a salad.

I think you'd need a few blobs of fat, some chunks, some bones, and maybe a hide (untanned of course). Then you'd put them in there, and out pops a vermin dwarf.

Sorry, I don't have any cats... I have about 60 dogs though. :)

That's fine, you can easily make new vermin eaters by starving some of your children.

Kill off all but 2 of your dwarfs, name them Adam and Eve. If they do anything that slightly annoys you caste them out of your fortress and send them naked into the land of nod! AAHAHAHAHA

I once made a map without and civs at all -by modding the legendary monsters super powerful- no goblin, human, elves or dwarfs. 4 Dwarf civs. showed up on the list but not on the map.

You could allow yourself to be sieged (or dig HFS if you have it) and then abandon and reclaim. Presumably you'd be able to come back with a large strike force and if you handled yourself well you'd have more dwarves to work with afterward.
