The way I see it the dwarves would be smart enough to bind the prisoner while they were passed out before they hauled them over to whatever prison structure.

Ha ha, silly me.

Anyway, if they picked up the goblin without it's weapon or gear even with it waking up and attacking them it wouldn't be a big deal.

what about: ignore unconscious enemies?

its a smart, short-term tactical descision.

then combine the ability to cage unconscious creatures, including nobles.

you've solved two birds with one stone.

But who's in charge of caging unconscious entities? Should peasants charge out into the battlefield to drag prisoners inside or should soldiers take a break from battle to haul passed out gobbos?
