I'm waiting for org and strife to say where they want to start and for Kashyyk to give me a profile so that he can play. Pandarsenic, last wave you were on K9, but someone already picked that one, so pick somewhere else.

Edit: I won't be on for the next couple of days, but i'll try to reach you guys as soon as I can.

Why not, if you have an editor with layers, fade the background grid and corpses together, redraw grid lines overtop, and then use that as the background for the next wave.
It fades to the default color, so you will be able to distinguish recent corpses from old.

Or maybe, add all corpses from the last wave at 50% tranparency and then skightly fade back.

Either way, if you can have a solid background color plus corpses layer that has a visual change after each wave that makes the old corpses more visible...
