Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Is the club any good?
Can it be wielded 1-handed?

I buy, and wear, a Bike helmet, headwounds are lame, unless I don't think I can fight effectively in melee while wearing one, meh, I can just give it to someone else if it turns out to be impractical...

K9, woof!

Can I treat my wounds in the intermission?

I didn't, they didn't, it was awesome!

I'll treat his wounds if I can.

There's about 25 of the fuckers and the three sarge killed were at point blank range - it's got to be zombies or a bunch of really dumb terrorists with knives.

Well, there has been one death so far, which means that it is actually possible that you will get a turn ever. But I really wouldn't have a clue how long, the only way to speed up the queue is to get us killed, so getting us bannd from the forum, causing us to forget our turns, or daring us into getting killed are all great ways to speed up the queue...

Game start:27 May 2009
First death:09 June 2009
Second death:31 June 2009
You do the math...

I am sick of picking zombie teeth out of my face, so I am getting a helmet, also it is one of a small list of things I can actually afford...

Are there any penalties for wearing heavy armour?

Not buying yet.  Gonna save my money.  If we get a similar or larger haul next time, I'll have a few things I'd like to buy.
Does the scope work on the .22 pistol?

No, scopes don't work on .22, and before someone brings up Robo-Cop, I'm pretty sure those weren't .22s.

Can I put a scope on a knife? It SHOULD give me enough of an accuracy bonus to allow me to hit things that aren't in range.

You said it's not how far it can reach, you just get an accuracy penalty. With enough scopes, my knives could potentially hit things they can't.
