I'd like a spot on the waiting list. You clearly need a redshirt.

Name:RAM
Description (optional):10 meters tall with black skin and an infinite number of bone spikes...(okay, so names are not my strong suit)
Money:What do you mean you don't take cheques!?!
Perks: Axecrazy, dual wield, mute, medic(, redshirt, discretion). (I am assuming that a total of 4 perks means 3 perks and a penalty, but I am also too optimistic to miss the chance...((also, a redshirt that people actually care about would be awesome)))
Equip: 2Combat knife*, 4Combat knife*, 6bandages, 8molotov, (8)pistol.(if I can sell the pistol then replace it with a grenade and first aid kit, but if I am assuming that I can't)
*equipped

I don't see any armour, ideas:
bicycle helmet
kevlar vest
replica chainmail
replica gothic plate
Replica hardened leather armour
Sports padding
Denim clothes
Leather clothes
Shark-proof chainmail
wetsuit
diving bell
spacesuit

can we move on diagonals?

Are bandages/meds etc. treated like small clips for the purposes of carrying capacity?

And do items carried in hand count against the limit?

What would be even more awesome would be a redshirt with valour..."No! don't protect me! go away! go away!"

Name: Hasuin Nguyen
Money: 0 Generic Monies
Perks: Medic, Speedster
Equipment:
(e)Pistol
First Aid
First Aid
(e)Combat Knife
Good, but you don't need to equip first aids

Name:Ferik Jurgen
Money:0 Imperial Credits
Perks:Mule, Healthy
Equipment
(e)pistol
(e)combat knife
2 grenades
Moltov Cocktail
Bottle of Tanna

fix'd
good

I thought up some more perks/flaws!

Perks:
Spotter: Can use attack to help someone else target a hostile, increasing their range/ accuracy.
Ninja: Get a bonus from attack behind the enemy. Increases chances of evasion.
Techie: Can use a laptop twice per round OR get one item instantly.
Cool tracking type: Gets a hint for what the next wave will be.
Valor: Can stand over a critically injured ally, getting an  attack and defense bonus and preventing them from being attacked again.
Descretion: Can force someone to gain the Valor ability and protect them
Captain Midshipman: Once per round, may order a character to move, they don't have a choice.

Penalties:
Mute: Player may only post their actions, no discusing strategy with the other team mates or redoing their moves.
Vehicle ineptitude: Cannot operate vehicles or other advanced thingamajigs (like turret implacements).
Stuborn: May not leave map while there are hostiles.
Idiot Hero: If someone is critically injured, must move towards character every turn.
Selfish: May not give items to another character, or use medpacks on others.
French: Joking.
Slob: Doesn't keep their gun clean; it has a  chance of failing whenever they fire it. It also has a chance of beinging seriously damaged, needing an entire turn to fix it.
Klutz: Has a falling flat on their face whenever they try to move, they can still shoot from the ground though.
Shell shocked: Has a 1% chance of losing every turn. Has a 5% chance of freezing and losing a turn at any explosion.
Enjoys showing off pictures of sweetheart: Any critical injury becomes fatal.
Redshirt: Zombies home in on them.

a few changes, but approved

By the way, I believe for ammo belt you might be referring to a bandolier?  Or LBE (Load Bearing Equipment)?

Pistol has unlimited ammo.
Does that just mean ammo is free and always in the dump, so we have to worry about how many clips we can carry?
How much ammo does the shotgun come with, how much does ammo cost?

Afraid I'm not very good with names.  I was considering Charles Whitman Redux or Yazan Gable.  Alternatively, I could go with my favorite Left 4 Dead character, Barrack Obama.

Here goes, whaddya think?

Name: Wild Goose
Description (optional): Tired, dirty, happy.  Shooting guns and getting paid, awesome.
Money: Broke
Perks: Sharpshooter, Genre Savvy
Equip*:
(e) Pistol
-(12 Small Clips)
Ammo Belt
Extra Pocket
Backpack

Bandolier! That's the word!
Pistol ammo is always free and in the ammo dump, so it is about how many you carry
The shotgun comes with 5 clips. (not including the one it's loaded with). I'll give the prices later.
the stats are good

Name: Rinno the Dual Pistoleer From the East
Description (optional):
Money: $0
Perks: Dual Wield, Speedster
Equip*: Pistol, Pistol, bayonet (on both pistols) (is this allowed?), ammo belt, backpack, 1 molotov grenade, 8 ammo clips.

First off, you spent way too many eps. only the first pistol is free, the other is 5 ep. and no, no bayonets (at least not on pistols)

Name:RAM
Description (optional):10 meters tall with black skin and an infinite number of bone spikes...(okay, so names are not my strong suit)
Money:What do you mean you don't take cheques!?!
Perks: Axecrazy, dual wield, mute, medic(, redshirt, discretion). (I am assuming that a total of 4 perks means 3 perks and a penalty, but I am also too optimistic to miss the chance...)

10 meters!? that's too tall
Perks let you have a max of 4 perks with 2 flaws
no, you can't sell your pistol (yet).
thanks for the armor suggestion

Didn't like the captain? I liked the name, personally.

Are any of the armor ideas being implemented?

5 clips?  Jeeze, then it might almost be worth taking the boomstick, then.  Make a good secondary/close-in weapon, certainly.

Speaking of weapons, will we be naming them?
Pistol; something in .22, maybe, for the starting ones?  .22 rounds are cheap, light, and compact, and the .22 pistols are cheap and common.  A Ruger MKIII?
Shotgun; that, I'm not so familiar with.  A Mossberg 590A1?

What kinda strength can we expect in the first few waves?

@ Strife: no, I did not like the captain perk. something like that would end with someone using it to send a teammate into a hoard.

The armor is being implemeted, but i don't think anyone is going to need it for the first waves (or a few after)

@Wild Goose: no naming. most of the weapons are just getting generic weapon names. if something is special enough that it does warent its own name, then it will.

the first few wave are the training waves, so not very strong.

Then I think I'll stick with what I've got.  When do we start?  When all the players have submitted a sheet, huh?

Being ten meters tall probably gives you a reach/sight advantage, but it also probably makes you a huge target for the poison-spitting giant cave zombies.
But I think the real reason is that creatures taking up multiple squares haven't been implemented yet, with the exception of wagons ammo dumps.

Why do you have six knives?  Just in case?  Or...one in each hand, one for each foot, one in the teeth, and...oh, jeez, really?  Are you serious?  Dude, knife-wanging is soooooo-tasteless.
Pistol-wanging, on the other hand...who has that avatar photo, anyway?  Isn't he in the game Emperor_Jonathan?  And what's the photo from?

Ouch, not sure I really care for the Discretion Perk; I can appreciate it's value and mechanics, but it always sucks to lose control of your character, and especially if it means your non-melee ranged specialist is forced to tank for someone.  Yeah, I'm a wuss.

Heh, don't suppose I should ask the GM to start running a newb mission for the nutjobs who're too impatient to wait, huh?  ;D

Name: Strife.
Description: 5' 7". Black trenchcoat. As per usual.
Money: Gold isn't an acceptable form of currency? Bloody strange place.
Perks: Genre Savvy (another day, another zombie invasion); Sharpshooter (a head shot solves many problems); Ax crazy (just skilled really. A knife is always available); Diehard (It's not my day, yet).
Flaws: Vehicle ineptitude (why can't these bloody things be standardized?!); Big Damn Hero (I'll sell my life dearly, but I will sell it).

Equipment: Pistol: double gripped (only an idiot shoots one-handed); 2) combat knife: belt (cold steel is a man's best friend); 5) backpack (I'm getting a strange song stuck in my head); 3) first aid package (it might save somone else's life, fun toys they have here).

Yah, that and after I do HP rolls.

also, strife, you get 2 power point for all the great suggestions

@IWM: yes the pistol ammo is unlimited. also, you are one ep over
@WG: OK

You are surrounded by zombies. You are about to get your face chewed off. What will you do?

@all: i know that description is optional, but if you give one then i won't have to make 9 white circles with numbers on them

Can I assume that Strife will be able to purchase an appropiate anti-zombie weapon at a later date?

And the pistol being  .22 makes a lot of sense, you can handwave the infinite ammunition becuase the amount of .22 shots you can carry quickly gets into insane levels. Clips would be a problem, but we could claim that they're strange 7 shot revolvers.
