Well, the war from Pinalene goes like this : the world is super young, and I try to emulate the growing tech level of my civ by just getting the hang out of the game and increasingly becoming better and better.
So my built my first fort in the forest, and told myself I'd learn how to stone later, so I built a little fort out of wood. We started okay with Pinalene, I knew they hated cut wood product so we respected everything. I didn't knew howto handleexotic anmals at the time so I let a lot of good deals pass by, but good relations.
Problem, after retiring the fort, tensions started to rise between us and Pinalene because... I built a gigantic castle out of wood I think. Treatment of plant problem. So when I played as Luki for the first time, after a couple missions for a captain of that fort, he asked me to rough up an elven lord. Like "just smack him a bit so they know who decide what is acceptable or not"
And when Luki ended up in front of the dude, I looked for the button to "smack him just a bit". Spitting just made him mad, so I thought, hey maybe I can wrestle him into submission. And like an imbecile I grabbed his throat, which is a lethal move. His guards intervened, my companions intervened. It didn't ended well and we had to run. Big chaos ensued, culminating with the lord being mauled by my hammermaster dwarven companion
Next thing you know I'm at war. Worst diplomacy ever
