You're really, really good, man. I mean, damn.
^ Yes. o_o That realism and shading. Very nice sketching(?)!
On first impression I was silly so think 'woodcut art' but then I realized it was on paper given the tiny spaces in ink.

I mentally squee'd in seeing the art.

Ooooo, I see those pictures are hosted on Tumblr? (Maybe? I guess that's why they appeared as broken links to me).

Are you going to update here if that's an updating/art blog(?)? :D

@DG : I had the "bite" option during the fights. That's what I should have done, using my unique hamsterman abilities !

@Max : Thanks, the effect is due to the paper, which grain is composed of horizontal lines. Rembrandt paper, if I'm not mistaken...

That is amazing!

so uhh set up another Goblin experiment to test out what someone said about adventurer breeding is totally fixed and just need to wait.
so I moved 2 goblins into a sealed in chamber and left the fort to idle....
uhh a few things happen, one being I forgot to remove the duck mods from this world I made for testing,
two I left 2 cats in the room before sealing it up with several layers of walls and doors so the goblins made grudges to those cats.

god no results outside of if you leave dogs alone they will replace the dwarves and build an army.
I got a Dogsplosion

one could say This plan, Gone to the Dogs.
like I think I'm hitting just about everything weird you can do in the new Dwarf fortress BUT getting married or making 2 adventurers fall in love.

trying to achieve this one Adv dream is alot tougher than I expected.

Thanks everyone ! So much fun to draw. Another one :

Behal Komsesle was the hearthperson of lady Sasir Thamon. She was the last of her kin, alone in the great hall with her men. One day she asked Behal to find a particular vampire.

The hunt was long and harsh. He killed many of the foul creatures, but failed to find their master, as has ordered his lady. Many days passed with no result, and then dark thoughts began to creep through his mind. He envied his lady’s stature, the hall, and the land. And he envied the power of the vampires he slew.

One dark night, he drank the vampire’s blood he just killed. Then his transformation was complete. He spent the rest of the night drinking innocent blood, then at dawn came back to his lady.

It took a single slash from his short sword to swiftly cut her head off.

:D great detail and style! Could be a Norman keep.

EDIT: Would also like to add, I'd love to play a game which had that art ^
