He used wrestling to grab it, and then used shift-I to gain possession.

Grab their weapon using a free grasp, then shift-I or even just move away - if 'you maintain possession of the <weapon>', it is now in your grasp.

Gods this is some funny new version stuff. i keep chopping at necks and severing them, and find a neck on the ground next to the mutilated corpse. No decapitated head anywhere. How to illustrate properly?

I think the head is on there, the neck is just connected to it. It's like if you chop off the upper arm, it won't list lower arm, hand and fingers.

In many of my town in 40.02 there are wandering goblin gangs, they're usually friendly, but when I try to fast travel away they will ambush me and promptly kill me.
