Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

FINALLY I HAVE FINISHED READING
So I read the whole topic, and it is hilarious. I have some requests. One, an osprey woman with a broken everything. Two, a swordsman in all bronze armor with an iron sword and shield frozen in ice while fighting a Giant Sponge.

Considering titans are supposed to be bigger than houses that is one big crossbow :P
>Bigger than houses
>Can fit several thousand of them in a small house.

Truth be told, I drew these before I ever even heard of Dwarf Fortress, but I figured they look like they'd fit into the universe.

So uhh going to test if a tiger beetle hill titan can use a crossbow with its mouth, here's a visual image of said Hill titan...

Am I mistaken, or is that titan wearing a leisure coat and a tricorn hat?

I'm pretty sure what actually happened was a kind of Matrix spin-off thing, where the leader leant backwards, to avoid the rock, but the rock turned in mid-air and bashed him in the face.

Just if anyone's wondering.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

sounds like he lean back only to be hit by the rock while it was falling than say he jump away to the left or right and the rock curved into him.

You know what? I'd love to burst all your bubbles at once, just because it amuses me!

In DF, creatures can have the chance to dodge projectiles, which the leader did. One of the options they have to dodge into can be the next one the projectile enters. Which is what the leader chose. So, he jumped backwards to escape the rock, but only delayed the inevitable by one tick because he was still dodging into the way of the projectile. Technically, he could have dodged that too, I think.
