That was awesomeness of Shook-like proportions. Speaking of Shook, anyone ever compile his contributions to this thread?

I was waiting for the total denial of the 1v1. But it actually went through. Hmm. Maybe that's how calling out a vamp's supposed to go? .......that's just strange.

If I'm to fight a vamp, ALWAYS, ALWAYS I declare that he's a night creature then hightail it out of the room, leaving the peasants to mob him with their razor sharp knives. If s/he comes out of the melee, you lead it to another house.

And so on.

Even if a peasant scores the kill, you can still claim credit.

Draw your adventures
I've always thought it was an unspoken law that fortress mode drawings were okay too ;-;

It IS okay to draw your fortress adventures. It's been happening the ENTIRE thread

I was going through a catacomb, searching for a bandit leader who is also a vampire, and I found her! However, she found me, too.

After a strategic withdrawal, I get to the surface only to find two cats standing in front of the door. As I pass, one of them gives me a kiss. Dawww.

That might be my favorite moment in the past few months. And I read it just as my cat was trying to attack-cuddle me to lick my nose.
