I was fighting some serpentpeople by a sewer outlet when my swordsdwarf companion suddenly found that he much preferred a more hands on approach to dealing with our foes.

Teeth. Everywhere.

I didn't even know they could explode like that! I was so impressed that I decided a full-colour illustration was in order. Had I been even more impressed, I might have shaded it and everything!

I was actually looking for an olmwoman I had been quested to slay, but instead I found a serpentwoman captain and her platoon of serpentman spearmen (and one blowgunner - pictured above.)

My two companions were both dwarves - despite hailing from a human city. The city's military seems to be composed solely of dwarves. The town also boasts dwarf merchants, including a fairly decent weaponsmith (a shame he only works in silver and copper).

I wasn't even paying attention to my dwarf buddies during the fight as I fully expected them to drown in the river or get bitten, paralysed, and then receive a coup-de-grace. I was alerted to the dwarven falcon punch when little white '2's appeared all over the screen. Yep... serpentman teeth. That must have been one hell of a wallop!

The serpentwoman captain herself turned out to be a handful compared to her comrades. I don't mind fighting serpentmen as, most of the time, they only use wooden spears, so they're useful as "sparring partners" to improve my peasant's meagre combat skills. The captain, however, was inflicting more than just a few bruises with her fungiwood spear. It was only as I dealt the final blow that I found she was a spearmaster and not just an elevated grunt.

Edit: Bugger, I just realised that this should have been a dwarf swordswoman. Feel free to hate on the blatant assumption that all warriors are male.

Teeth explosions are pretty cool. If you have an enemy that has "teeth" not "upper back teeth," etc., then you can grab the teeth with a free wrestling hand and pull them all out, or you could try hitting them.
I did it once or twice and have tried to do it since, but haven't gotten the opportunity.

rofl, this is what happend to me just like 10 minutes ago (more like a request lol.)

soo, i just modded (first time!) the amount of races, and choose myself an eagle man. i was extremally proud of my "gigantic brown feathered eagle man" gathered some companions together, and gone "wandering the wilds" actually, im pretty noobish at this game, soo i didnt even noticed i was going to a very "hard" wilderness. after 2 days of trying to getting back to the town, we've got ambushed by bandits while sleeping. a huge "wave" of text flooded my screen, and it was all RED. i though "ok, fuck it, im gonna make it, just fly up!" pressed z, checked my health. here is it.

The local castle has a bat person infestation and a kobold infestation. I could have tried leading one group to the other, to see if they would fight amongst themselves, but I'm a sneaker, not a brawler.

This piece took all freaking day. Eleven hours - I think my eyes are bleeding. The composition probably suffered towards the end (I forgot the original punchline), but hey it's hardly a ☼drawing☼.
