Ohh yeah, you actually have to set 'allow images in signatures' in your profile, first. I forgot that that was off by default.

I actually went through the trouble of resetting my password just to post in this thread.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I can't seem to get this Cobar guy to die, no matter how much FUN I put him through.

And his longtime companion, Dema, who's husband's head I threw, is even harder to kill. The crazy old lady is crippled and only has one hand. Her only weapon is a shield. She's unstoppable.
This. This is awesome. This made my day. Thank you.

Yes. Yes it is. Also, Cobar looks like a badass. Mind if I make him my avatar? >.>

EDIT:

Actually, sorry, a friend of mine has laid claim to it for when he registers on this forum in the near future.

EDITEDIT:

Nevermind, the friend in question was just giving me a hard time. The avatar's all yours if you want it.

Funny you should say that...

You know what the hardest part of drawing another Dwarf Fortress comic is going to be? Choosing what to draw. There's just so much stuff.

Ah, oh well. Worth a shot. ^^^

No, no, the friend was messing with me and doesn't have any intention of using Cobar as an avatar. Sorry about that, I edited my post shortly before your reply.

Bahaha, A+ comic Fox! c:

@WisdomThumbs: Do what i do, DRAW ALL THE THINGS! I imagine it takes a while to make them with that kind of quality, though. Definitely masterwork quality, if not more. I am horrendously jelly about how you can wrestle what i think is MS Paint (pardon me if i'm wrong, wouldn't be a first) into such a level of quality.

Also, i do believe Nega and Zale deserve a mention too. Some honest to goodness entertainment there. :D

GLORIOUS

What the hell...was this in a mod?

Some explanation: I was a hammerdwarf, broke all the bones of a night creature with a horn, and it managed to poke me in the face with it and kill me instantly.

Yeah, I did the comic in MS Paint. It was much easier to work with than my slow-ass Photoshop, especially since you can get away with sloppy coloring jobs in Paint. And I have a bamboo tablet. Makes everything easier.

You say my art is masterwork... and yet your simple stickfigures are more expressive and hilarious by far.

I laughed especially hard at "french'd". XD
