Oh, w-wow Shook, that has to be my absolute favourite of all your comics, and that is saying a lot! Got me laughing out loud at 4/5AM in the morning when I read it, especially the protagonist's expression in the last two panels. PURE GOLD!

That is a strikingly accurate depiction. Only missing thing is the nigh-constant covering in blood, but that'd kind of obscure all the details. (then again that might be a snapshot of a rare not-covered-in-blood moment)

I've been lurking around these forums for quite a bit and finally registered because I have a witty remark (or just a really bad pun) to make. Hamstone, meet Hambone.

This happened to me in one of my first times with DF in adventure mode.
When it happened to me I was like "Wuuuut ? This game is awesome !"
Now sometimes when I get asked what Dwarf fortress is, I tell this story ^^

Also no, it wasn't hamstone in my previous comic, it was GIANT LIVING ECHINOID (sea urchin) FOSSIL, an entirely different but much weaker being.

Bones are soft enough that dorfs can carve them with an intense glare/their sharp eyesight.
