I love the recent commotion and the pictures nowadays, not saying I loved the ones before, but I'm loving them all the same!

Oh, w-wow Shook, that has to be my absolute favourite of all your comics, and that is saying a lot! :D Got me laughing out loud at 4/5AM in the morning when I read it, especially the protagonist's expression in the last two panels. PURE GOLD!

Just on a whim decided to make a depiction of how my average adventurer looks.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

That is a strikingly accurate depiction. Only missing thing is the nigh-constant covering in blood, but that'd kind of obscure all the details. :P (then again that might be a snapshot of a rare not-covered-in-blood moment)

Spoiler: re:dinosaur femur (click to show/hide)

I... I don't know what to say. :U

I've been lurking around these forums for quite a bit and finally registered because I have a witty remark (or just a really bad pun) to make. Hamstone, meet Hambone.

This happened to me in one of my first times with DF in adventure mode.
When it happened to me I was like "Wuuuut ? This game is awesome !"
Now sometimes when I get asked what Dwarf fortress is, I tell this story ^^

Also, bonus comic because I want to.

I guess you could say you just got

* Shook sunglasses

Sockerpunched.

Also no, it wasn't hamstone in my previous comic, it was GIANT LIVING ECHINOID (sea urchin) FOSSIL, an entirely different but much weaker being.

@Redrich: OH YOU. It was bound to happen. :P

Also, bone carving.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Bones are soft enough that dorfs can carve them with an intense glare/their sharp eyesight.
