Don't worry guys, I drew up some art and I'll upload it as soon as I figure out how my scanner works. (I've never used it before.)

Alright, so my scanner didn't work. I guess several years of dust messes with the scanning-bits, or something. Especially since I didn't bother to dust it off.

Anyway... In lieu of a scanner, I just took pictures with my phone. Deal with it.

In short, I modded goblins to have a breath attack. Not a good idea. Luckily, drawing helmets on everyone because you can't draw half-decent hair is acceptable in a combat setting.

How embarrassing.

This is freaking awesome. So awesome. I love the smoke rising in the distance. At first I thought what, does adventuring cause random explosions or something? But then I realized how often my combat ends with me burning a bunch of trees and I had a good laugh.

I really like your work, Nine Dots. Please don't stop.

It's pretty unique among the DF art I've seen. Dada DF is a good way to put it.
Personally I prefer the term "Nightmare Fuel".

Nine Dots' work, especially the cook killing the Titan scene, reminds me of Goya's Saturn Eating His Son. Speaking of Nightmare Fuel:

Which, come to think of it, is not unlike the Red Demon Devouring Two Lions:

Thank you, art history classes, for allowing me to appreciate silly stuff on the Internet.

I totally stole "Dada DF" from Rumrusher. Sadly, almost everything I know about Dada comes from Grant Morrison's run of Doom Patrol. Speaking of which, there are parts of that which art history classes may add a layer of appreciation to.

I have previously seen that painting due to my old interest in Greek and Roman mythology, though.

As we all know, macemen are pretty useless. Their job can be done in a more efficient way by hammermen. Peasants are quite worthless tot, they're only sent to kill night creatures as eating them appeases them. Not any more.

I'm going to conquer the world with this little guy, Sathrel Mouthfloor.

This post will be updated with more images soon.

Good job using actual text this time. No offense, but I could barely read it last time.

None taken, I agree that the writing was shit. Freeform taught me how to actually use layers. I'm going to try to play some tonight and get some drawingsdone, but Cataclysm and Syteam sales are not a good combination for people trying to use their time.

i love how the horse looks like Mr. horse in the classic "no sir, i didnt like it" pose in the last panel.

also ........., dont ever stop.  you manage to convey the entire "gist" of the adventure with one "cryptic" image.  i love the "incomplete" ones, such as the townsman giving out a night creature quest a few pages back.  gives it the feeling that "the art is not finished because the adventure is not either".
