Well shit, now i actually know how to imagine dorfbolds. It all makes sense! All other kobolds are still seen as little lizardmen, though. D&D has poisoned my mind irreversibly.

Also, you know how us humans tend to make hunting as painless as possible for the killed animals?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Dorfs strongly disagree with that notion. For all intents and purposes, THEY DO HAVE A GATLING CROSSBOW. And they really like to use it. I'm sure we can all agree to this after seeing a hunter try to kill his prey. The big question is, how the hell would they react to getting an actual porcupine for dinner?

It's so they can more easily make kebabs. The dwarven crossbow is a labour-saving device.

I laughed aloud. I'm sure when Toady gets round to his promised Bad Poetry Generator, it'll be the inspiration for a lot of new pictures.

It's something Toady has been threatening us with for a while (more than a year, I'd wager), mostly during DF Talks...
I pray that He implements it, along with a Crap Music Generator: procedurally generated songs as a soundtrack to my adventure? Priceless...

Hopefully the music won't be like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sC0cvwnG0Ik

Hopefully He will give it some knowledge of basic chordal structures so that it won't rape our ears, although it will sound mechanical and, well, computer generated.

... But, I'm derailing. Bring in the comics!

You see, here's how I think this works:
Overseer: Welcome to the military! You need to wear socks! Dorf: Oh, I should get military socks. My socks are civilian socks. Dorf discards socks Dorf: You know, I need a whole lot of gear now. I should get socks... last. Oh, but these steel boots with the white goo on them are nice!

It does indeed seem fun :p And maybe it would become a new skill, Poetry, then Dwarves would write poems about events just like they engrave stuff... And we could find poetry while adventuring...  8)

I think there should be a rule about posting this link : big red sign saying "DON'T GO THERE".
